[F] Hi, this is TJ with Piano Clubhouse and today I'm going to [Bb] show you how to play
Have Your Way by Joe Pace.
It's in the [Db] key of D flat.
D flat has
accidentals of D flat and E flat
[F] G flat, A flat, and B flat
[Eb] [Db]
All right, so song really has not much of an introduction probably one chord at best
[Eb] [Ab] Let's see
Right here, let's do that.
A flat in the [Eb] left, A flat and E flat.
You can hit this octave [Ab] if you want here
Right hand will be on D flat and E flat and
G flat and [Gbm] throw that A in there [Eb] and if you want to keep it [Gbm] simple, it's a G flat minor chord
and [Eb] I'm adding the
6th degree of E flat into it
Okay
[Ab]
And if you [Db] want to stretch out that pinky you can hit that [Ab] octave D flat if you want, okay, then the song starts
[F]
[Gb] [Eb]
[Db] So left hand
D flat is your primary [Ab] bass note, primary bass note and you can hit that A flat at the 5th to kind of fill it in Right hand
I'm starting out on this 2-5-1 chord
I call the 2-5-1 chord because it's the second note of the scale, the fifth note and the first note.
It's kind of a universal
Triad chord that you can play that fits in a lot of different places in the song
So I just call the 2-5-1.
It's real [E] quick and easy to say and universal across
All the different keys.
So left hand is on the D flat and A flat, right hand is on the 2-5-1
[Ab] [F]
Next left hand moves up to the F.
Leave this D flat
Right hand [Db] you're almost still on the 2-5-1.
The only thing that's moving in the right hand is A flat [A] to move up to A
[Db] Okay, so first
[F] [Eb] Play it around with these last notes, move it up from D flat to E flat if you like, [Eb] okay
[Ab]
[Gb] Next right hand moves up to a G flat major 7 F G flat B flat and D flat
Left hand is on
[Db] G flat and D [Gb] flat
[Ab] Next the last
Chord in this movement is left hand goes to A flat [Db] right hand goes to this D flat suspended [Gb] D flat G flat and A [Db] flat
You can hit that octave if you like
Okay from the [Gb] beginning
[Ab] You should pick up chords in the song then in the verse
[Db] [F]
[Gb] [Eb] [Db]
What I didn't show [Ab] you there after the suspended the [Gbm]
second chord I played [Eb] after that was this right here
That same [Gbm] D flat G flat minor, but that added B [Gb] flat E flat.
Okay, so start from the beginning again
[Db]
[F] [Gb]
[Gbm] [Db]
[F] [Gb] Now the second time through what changes right after this chord this has all been the same up to here the second time through
But the next it changes
Left hand goes to G right hand goes to E flat major [Eb] E flat F G B flat
[Gm] Then left hand goes to a flat
[Ab] Right hand goes to a flat major chord E flat A flat C
Left hand moves up to a right hand [Eb] goes at the same time to an F major F a C
throwing that [G] G
Okay, and then we end up on
[Bbm] Right hand is on a D flat major
[Bb] Left hand is on B flat F and B flat
Okay, so let's try it from the beginning through there
[Ab] You
[Db] [F]
[Eb] [Gb] [Ab]
[F] G flat [Gm] seven here's the E flat major
[Ab] then a flat over a flat
[Am] this F major over a
then we [Bbm] end up on the
D flat major over B flat
from here left [Bb] hand can move down chromatically to a
[A] right hand moves to an a diminished chord C
E flat and a
[B] Left hand continues to move down chromatically to G flat right [Db] hand goes back to the D flat major
Left hand continues down one more half step to G right hand goes up to [Gm] the E flat major
[G] Then left hand moves up to a when we're on that a [Am] right hand goes back to that F major
Whenever throughout this whole song [G] whenever the left hands on that G
We're always gonna get that E flat whenever we're on [Am] the a we're always in a major F major
Okay
From the [Db] beginning [F]
[Gb] [Ab] suspended
[Db] One
[F] [Gb] [Gm] Flat [Ab] major a flat over a flat
[A] There's a diminished
[Bbm] [A] [Db]
[Gm] flat major F [F] major
[Bb] [Eb] [A]
[Db] [Gm] So that second time you stay here
Now [G] we're going to the last part of the verse
[Ebm]
[Db] [Eb] So coming out

[F] Hi, this is TJ with Piano Clubhouse and today I'm going to [Bb] show you how to play
Have Your Way by Joe Pace.
It's in the [Db] key of D flat.
D flat has
accidentals of D flat and E flat
[F] G flat, A flat, and B flat
_ [Eb] _ _ [Db] _
_ _ _ All right, so song really has not much of an introduction probably one chord at best
_ _ [Eb] _ [Ab] Let's see
Right here, let's do that.
A flat in the [Eb] left, A flat and E flat.
You can hit this octave [Ab] if you want here
Right hand will be on D flat and E flat and
G flat and [Gbm] throw that A in there [Eb] and if you want to keep it [Gbm] simple, it's a G flat minor chord
and [Eb] I'm adding the
6th degree of E flat into it
Okay
[Ab] _
_ And if you [Db] want to stretch out that pinky you can hit that [Ab] octave D flat if you want, okay, then the song starts
_ _ _ [F] _
_ _ [Gb] _ _ _ _ [Eb] _ _
[Db] _ So left hand
_ D flat is your primary [Ab] bass note, primary bass note and you can hit that A flat at the 5th to kind of fill it in Right hand

So left hand is on the D flat and A flat, right hand is on the 2-5-1
[Ab] _ _ _ [F] _
Next left hand moves up to the F.
Leave this D flat
Right hand [Db] you're almost still on the 2-5-1.
The only thing that's moving in the right hand is A flat [A] to move up to A
[Db] Okay, so first
_ _ [F] _ _ [Eb] _ _ Play it around with these last notes, move it up from D flat to E flat if you like, [Eb] okay
[Ab] _ _ _
_ _ [Gb] _ Next right hand moves up to a G flat major 7 F G flat B flat and D flat
Left hand is on
[Db] G flat and D [Gb] flat
_ _ _ [Ab] Next the last
Chord in this movement is left hand goes to A flat [Db] right hand goes to this D flat suspended [Gb] D flat G flat and A [Db] flat
You can hit that octave if you like
_ Okay from the [Gb] beginning
[Ab] You should pick up chords in the song then in the verse
[Db] _ _ _ [F] _ _
[Gb] _ _ _ _ _ [Eb] _ _ [Db]
What I didn't show [Ab] you there after the suspended the _ [Gbm] _
second chord I played [Eb] after that was this right here
That same [Gbm] D flat G flat minor, but that added B [Gb] flat E flat.
Okay, so start from the beginning again
_ [Db] _ _
_ [F] _ _ _ _ _ [Gb] _ _
_ _ _ [Gbm] _ [Db] _ _ _ _
[F] _ _ [Gb] Now the second time through what changes right after this chord this has all been the same up to here the second time through
But the next it changes _
Left hand goes to G right hand goes to E flat major [Eb] E flat F G B flat
_ [Gm] _ _ Then left hand goes to a flat
[Ab] _ Right hand goes to a flat major chord E flat A flat C
Left hand moves up to a right hand [Eb] goes at the same time to an F major F a C
throwing that [G] G
_ _ _ _ Okay, and then we end up on
[Bbm] _ Right hand is on a D flat major
[Bb] Left hand is on B flat F and B flat
Okay, so let's try it from the beginning through there
[Ab] You
[Db] _ _ _ [F] _ _
[Eb] _ [Gb] _ _ _ [Ab] _ _ _ _
_ _ [F] _ _ G flat [Gm] seven here's the E flat major
[Ab] then a flat over a flat
[Am] this F major over a
then we [Bbm] end up on the
D flat major over B flat
from here left [Bb] hand can move down chromatically to a
[A] right hand moves to an a diminished chord C
E flat and a
[B] Left hand continues to move down chromatically to G flat right [Db] hand goes back to the D flat major
Left hand continues down one more half step to G right hand goes up to [Gm] the E flat major
_ [G] _ Then left hand moves up to a when we're on that a [Am] right hand goes back to that F major
Whenever throughout this whole song [G] whenever the left hands on that G
We're always gonna get that E flat whenever we're on [Am] the a we're always in a major F major
Okay
From the [Db] beginning _ [F] _ _ _
[Gb] _ _ [Ab] suspended
