[D] [Gm] Hello, my name is Katharina [N] Lichtenberg.
This is my second video for homespun and on this video I want to focus more on the actual
tremolo, the art of the tremolo.
And so I hope you love the tremolo because it is actually very much related to the mandolin.
Hi Mike.
Hello Katharina.
Nice that you came here.
Thank you very [Ab] much for being [Em] a part of my teaching video.
It's a pleasure to be here and wonderful to hear you playing such beautiful tremolo.
[Am] [Em]
[Gb] [Em] [B]
[G] [Em] Talk [Eb] now about tremolo on two strings and more.
So of course there's the [Em] melody playing on one string but [N] of course there's also tremolo
on more than one string and I will start with tremolo on two strings.
I would suggest that you start [C] actually without any sound, just mute your [N] strings and get the feeling.
Now we are coming to a very, very beautiful technique in the art of tremolo.
It's called duo style in America but the Italian name is tremolo staccato.
So like the name says tremolo and staccato and it looks like this.
