Hi, my name is Andy [E] and I work for Steve Vai [Bm] and right now the coolest thing is happening
and I'm just going to show [D] you what it is and hope we don't [F#] get in trouble.

[C#m] [E] What [B] are you doing Andy?
Sure, you're lurking around with your camera.
Yes, indeed.
[C]
Oh, you're playing Moon.
[B] Not quite in tune.
[D]
[E] Yeah, I was working on some of the [C#] cool riffs that I was doing in there.
[Gm] There's this really great, well I think it's great, [E] kind of an idea where you take these
octaves and you [G#] use the whammy bar to try to keep them in tune and create a [Bm] melody.
[D] [F#]
[A] [C#] [G#]
I was doing all this stuff in the [E] Moon and I was [Bm] like
[F#] It's a little tricky because the notes don't actually move [A#] in the same pitch when you whammy them.
One string moves differently.
[B] So you've got to vibrate it a little bit.
Sometimes it works with chords.
[D] [Cm] [Bm]
And [C] I'll just kind of sit and work on it for a long time and then the right things will
[A] start coming out.
[F#] [Bm] This other cool [F] thing I was doing in there is this [E] idea where you play a riff and then
[G] you lift the last note up [F#m] with the bar.
So it's sort of [C#] like this.
[G#] [E]
It needs work, but I'll
[A]
[F#] [N] just work on that until it sounds good.
Very cool.
Are you making a YouTube special?
I might be.
Am I in trouble?
No, that's your new camera, right?
It is.
Yeah, it's a really good picture.
Yeah, thanks Steve.
