How's it going [Gm] guys?
Welcome to this tutorial video for how to play this [Dm] nice piece by Missful Go.
[Eb] If you haven't already checked out Missful Plays on [F] TikTok, I definitely recommend [Ab] it.
He's an
absolute musician.
[Gm] Anyway, let's get into it.
[Dm]
Alright [F] guys, so this [Eb] piece is played very freely.
There's not really any rhythmic pulse throughout [Bbm] the whole thing.
So [Ab] what I'll do is I'll go through
one phrase at a time and just [Gm] play it really slowly and break down all the notes that I'm playing.
One little tip [Dm] when learning something that's being played quite freely is to not try and [Eb] play
it at full speed because even though you can hear what you want to [Ab] play, it's better to practice it
really slowly.
So for example, we have [F] this run.
[Cm] [Eb]
Okay, so it's played very fast but when I learned
that I didn't play it anywhere [Ab] near that quick.
It took me a while.
So I [Bbm] was learning it at this
kind of [Fm] speed.
[G]
[Gm] See what I [Ab] mean?
So it's all about making sure you know where the fingers know where
to [G] go.
[Gm] So you don't even have to think about [F] it and that's how you get it up to a speed where
it's comfortable and you can play it as [D] expressively as you want.
Alright, so let's get started with
the [Ab] first phrase.
It looks like this.
[Eb]
[C]
[Fm] Okay, so [C] starting the left hand on this C and then [Eb] playing
this [Cm] minor 7 chord.
[Eb] And the right hand is playing these notes.
And then coming back down to those.
Okay, [Cm] so again.
[Eb]
[Cm] [Eb]
Then we have these three [Cm] chords.
We're sort of rolling those up.
[Ebm]
Then we finish in the left [Gm] hand by going.
[C]
Okay, so the whole thing
a little bit slower.
[Cm]
[Eb]
[C]
[F] Now for the next phrase we're starting on this F and we're doing this minor [Fm] 7
again.
These three notes.
Then we have this fast run.
[F]
Okay, [A] so notes there.
Let's play it really [Fm] slowly.
[C] [G]
[F] So up to that G.
What [Fm] I'm doing there is going [G] one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
One, two, [F] three, four.
[Eb] One, two, three.
[G] One, [Gb] three, [G] four.
Now it's [Gm] important to hit that with the four because what we're going to do is roll [Ab] down like this.
[Eb] It's a lot easier if you go.
[G] Hit that with three.
[Eb] Okay, [Fm] so one more time.
[F]
Down to the E flat.
Then from there we go.
[G]
[C] [Eb]
[F] Starting with the C on the thumb, going [Gm] to the four on the B flat.
[F]
[Eb]
[Ab] Okay, so it's [F] all the same.
[Fm]
[F]
[Ab] Okay, a bit [Fm] faster.
[Eb] And that's our first two [Gm] phrases.
I just want to jump in quickly to say if you've got any feedback or [D] suggestions for songs that you want me [F] to make a tutorial for, please leave it in [Gm] the comment section.
And if you find this video helpful, please consider giving [F] me a like or even subscribing to my channel.
It really does [Ab] go a long way.
Next phrase looks like this.
[Cm]
Alright, so [D] starting here, going up to this D by going up these notes using all five fingers actually.
Like [G] that.
When we hit that D, [Cm] we also hit this chord on the left hand.
C minor 7 as before.
[Eb] Then, like before, we do that little [G] roll down.
[Cm]
Then hitting that G.
[D] [Eb]
From the G we go to this [Bb] chord.
[Cm] [C]
Okay, and then from there we go.
That with the [Bb] left hand.
[Cm]
[Eb] [C]
[Cm]
That's the third phrase.
So that takes us to the next [Bb] phrase which looks like this.
[Db]
[Gbm] [F]
[Gm] Okay, so we're starting with this G minor 9.
The right [G] hand is going [D]
between [Gm] these three [Bb] chords.
[Gm] [Bb]
[Gm] We move to this [Db] one and the right hand is going.
[Gbm]
[Db] [Gbm]
So together, [Bb] [Gm] [Gbm]
finishing on [F] this.
And then the E [Fm] flat, he does hit it again very [F] lightly.
[Dm] [Db]
[Gbm] [F]
Next phrase.
[Cm]
[Eb]
[G] [Cm]
Rolling up to that D and hitting that C chord.
[C]
[Cm]
[Eb] So those last two phrases connected look like [Bb] this.
[Gbm]
[Gm]
[Eb]
And then we finish in the right hand.
Left hand stays where it is.
The right hand goes like [C] this.
Okay, so I'll take the pedal off [Ab] so you can see those notes a bit better.
[F] [Gm]
Octaves.
[G] Finishing with those three notes.
[F] [Cm]
[Eb]
So that's all the phrases.
Now I'll put the whole thing together and play it a little bit slower
than normal.
[Cm]
[Fm]
[F]
[Cm] [C]
[Bb] [Db]
[Gbm] [F]
[Cm]
[Eb]
[C] So thanks very much for watching and to finish off I'll give you a full performance
on a real piano.
Here you go.

It really does [Ab] go a long way.
Next phrase looks like this.
[Cm] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Alright, so [D] starting here, _ _ going up to this D by going up these notes using all five fingers actually. _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ Like [G] that.
When we hit that D, [Cm] we also hit this chord on the left hand.
_ C minor 7 as before. _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[Eb] Then, like before, we do that little [G] roll down. _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [Cm] _ _ _ _
Then hitting that G.
[D] _ _ [Eb] _ _

_ [Cm] _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ That's the third phrase.
So that takes us to the next [Bb] phrase which looks like this.
_ _ [Db] _ _
[Gbm] _ _ [F] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [Gm] Okay, so we're starting with this G minor 9.
_ The right [G] hand is going _ [D]

So together, [Bb] _ _ [Gm] _ _ _ [Gbm] _
_ _ _ _ finishing on [F] this. _

_ _ _ _ And then the E [Fm] flat, he does hit it again very [F] lightly. _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [Dm] _ _ _ _ [Db] _ _
[Gbm] _ _ _ [F] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ Next phrase.
[Cm] _ _
_ _ [Eb] _ _ _ _ _ _

Rolling up to that D and hitting that C chord. _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [C] _

_ _ [Eb] _ So those last two phrases connected look like [Bb] this.
_ _ _ _ [Gbm] _

_ _ _ _ [Eb] _ _ _
And then we finish in the right hand.
Left hand stays where it is.
The right hand goes like [C] this. _ _ _ _ _

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[F] _ _ [Cm] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [Eb] _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ So that's all the phrases.
Now I'll put the whole thing together and play it a little bit slower
than normal.
[Cm] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [Fm] _ _ _ _ _
_ [F] _ _ _ _ _ _ _
