I
[F] [Bb]
[B] [Fm]
[Eb] just want to say to all [C] young people that [B] I
[Ab] enjoyed you so thoroughly.
[Eb]
[N] I wanted to clap and [Ebm] dance.
[Bm] Mostly, I think that you learned.
I think that you faced things, you learned about [Db] various [C] situations.
[Bb] Things that we've dealt with.
[B]
This will always be home.
Wherever you are, if you're not away from the area geographically, [E] you can always come.
[Ab] Always.
[B]
[E]
[Eb] As small as it sounds to me up here, [Bb] could you please put some time in on this microphone?
[Dbm] I promise, [F] if you know me, I [Fm] promise I won't continue to do it.
[Db] Some of our sound [Dbm] people are busy [Abm] today, but [Ab]
thank you so much.
That's my better.
Is it [F] better?
A little bit.
[Abm] It's still something off, but it's [N] on the bottom.
It's on the bottom end.
So I want to thank you [Bb] for [Eb] your support this afternoon [F] of [Bb] our young people.
I'm losing my thought, my composure is here.
[B] That's what I'm trying to say.
[D] I don't [Eb] know what the hell I'm trying to say.
[D]
But I am so grateful to God for 36 [Ebm] years of [D] ministry and being able to touch a variety of [E] lives.
[B]
I am grateful to God just to be alive.
I don't [Db] know if most of you are probably aware of the fact that [B] a
[Eb] few [Bb] months ago, [B] I went to see my [Db] primary doctor on Friday.
[C] [B] I haven't seen him since before my surgery.
When I went into surgery, I went in [A] thinking that I was going [B] in for a five, eight hour procedure.
They told me it [Gb] was a very technical,
[Eb] [G] intricate procedure.
I won't [N] go into all that.
It ended up being that my surgery was 22 hours.
I went in at [Db] 6 o'clock on [F] Monday morning and came out Tuesday night at 6 o'clock in the [C] morning.
I spent [F] the majority of my time in the hospital, in the [Bb] ICU.
[Bbm] I came out [B] of the ICU in the 3rd.
[C] Because I [Abm] refused to stay in the waiting [F] room, I refused to be sick.
I refused to bleed.
[Db] [Ab] [Bb] [E]
[F] I [Bb] refused to believe that God was through with me.
I just feel like until we fulfill our purpose, we are invincible.
[F] God was doing [Fm] a whole lot of stuff.
[Bb]
The Lord let me know good and clearly [F] that I was not finished.
So [G] I'm here today and I'm
[F] thriving.
My primary doctor [D] said to me on Friday as he looked at my charts [G] and looked at all my vitals [C] and stuff,
and he said to me, I can't use his words because he's not a believer.
[Dm] [E]
[F] [Bb] [Db]
He said, in essence, [Bb] you are some kind of miracle.
[F]
[Fm]
[Bbm] [N]
[Fm] [Em] [Db]
[C]
[Db]
They removed a [Bb] large portion of my [Db] stomach, a large portion of my liver,
[Db] my pancreas, my gallbladder, [Dbm] my intestines.
They rerouted my bile duct.
[F] And I asked [Eb] myself a couple of days after the surgery, [E] I said, how [Ab] did you
[Eb] [E] last for 22 hours?
I said, I don't know.
He said, I do.
[Ab]
I [Gb] want to tell you [B] just in case you don't know,
[Abm] it was one thing to preach [Gb] everybody else's [Bb] story.
[Db] Tell you what [C] God did for Apostle [B] Peter and all the other saints.
[Ab]
But you don't really have any authority to tell anybody anything until you've been through something.
[A] [Db] I will tell you the option [B] without [N] the trouble is good.
[B] [E]
[B]
You need [G] to know when you're something else.
You know [Bbm] that [Db] God is not dead.
He's not gotten [F] old.
He's not lost his power.
He's the same God yesterday, today, and forevermore.
[C]
You're not going to see a lot of miracles.
You're still going to see a lot of miracles.
[D] [Bbm] [C]
I just, you know, my son, and I didn't get up here to say all this, but my son [Dm] asked me a [Bb] couple of days after [Ab]
my surgery, he [Bm] said,
[Eb] so what do you think God is [Bb] saying to you?
[C] I [F] said, God is causing me, [D] everybody is [Db] projecting in [B] terms of where they're going, what they're going to do, how they're going to get there, what they should have [Bb] done, could have done, and all that goes.
I said, but you [Bbm] know what?
God has instructed me to just stop and appreciate the sunshine.
Women, wake up in the morning and just [F] take it.
Thank God that I'm alive.
You know, [Eb] I've been watching, [C] just taking care of all my business, [Db] financial [Cm] and everything.
God took care [Db] of everything [D] because He's that kind of God.
[Db] And [C] [Bbm] I wouldn't have taken this experience for nothing in the world.
I wouldn't have taken that for [Ebm]
nothing [F] in the world.
I wouldn't have taken it.
I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God loves [D] me.
[Dbm] Anybody know that?
[Ab] [C]
[Ab] So I want, you know, just [Bb] keep us in [F] prayer.
Amen.
I feel like [Ab] I'm a martyr.
[F]
[C] Sorry.
[Db] Sorry.
And I don't have any reason to live.
I don't have any reason to live other than
[Ab]
[Cm] [E] Hallelujah.
[Db]
I [E] want to give you [F] glory.
[Ab]
So [Bbm] you pray for us, amen?
And in the ministry, remember, all [Ab] young people, pray for [Ebm] them, amen?
I [Bbm] think that they're going to.
I'm going to stop because I feel appreciative.

my surgery, he [Bm] said,
[Eb] so what do you think God _ _ _ is [Bb] saying to you?
[C] I [F] said, God is _ _ _ causing me, [D] everybody is [Db] projecting in [B] terms of where they're going, what they're going to do, how they're going to get there, what they should have [Bb] done, could have done, and all that goes.
I said, but you [Bbm] know what?
God has instructed me to just stop and appreciate the sunshine. _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ Women, wake up in the morning and just [F] take it.
_ _ Thank God that I'm alive. _
You know, _ [Eb] I've been watching, [C] just taking care of all my _ _ business, [Db] _ _ financial [Cm] and everything.
God took care [Db] of everything _ [D] because He's that kind of God.
[Db] And [C] _ _ [Bbm] _ I wouldn't have taken this experience for nothing in the world.
I wouldn't have taken that for [Ebm]
nothing [F] in the world.
I wouldn't have taken it.
I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God loves [D] me. _ _
_ [Dbm] Anybody know that? _ _ _ _
[Ab] _ _ _ _ _ _ [C] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [Ab] So I want, you know, just [Bb] keep us in [F] prayer.
Amen.
_ _ I feel like [Ab] I'm a martyr.
_ _ _ _ [F] _ _ _ _
[C] Sorry.
[Db] Sorry. _ _ _ _
_ _ And I don't have any reason to live.
I don't have any reason to live other _ _ _ _ than_
[Ab] _
_ [Cm] _ _ [E] Hallelujah.
_ [Db] _ _
I [E] want to give you [F] glory.
_ [Ab] _
So [Bbm] you pray for us, amen?
And in the ministry, remember, all [Ab] young people, pray for [Ebm] them, amen?
_ I [Bbm] think that they're going to.
I'm going to stop because I feel appreciative.
