Welcome back y'all this song brings back great memories of performing it on The Voice and getting kicked off Adam Levine's team
But it was so worth it because it's Deep Purple and they're one of my favorite bands of all time

We all came out to Montreux
On a leg [F] Geneva [D]
shoreline
To make a rexus with the mobile
[D] We didn't have much time
Frank Zappa and the mothers were at the [F] best place around
Some stupid with the flag
He burned the place [D] to the ground
[C] [Ab]
[G] Fire in the sky
[C] Smoke on the water
[G] They

[G] [C] [G]
[D] burned down the gambling house
Died [F] with an awful [D] sound
But Funky Claude was running in and out
[D] Pulling kids out of the ground
When it all was over
We had to find another race
Smith's family was gone
It seemed [F] that we would lose [D] the race
[C]
smoke [E] on [Ab] the water

[D] mr.
Haddon had to bat first
up at the grand old table.
It was empty, cold, and bare.
But with the rolling truck's gone, things just got sad.
[F] [D] Making a set there, with a few red lights and a few old beds.
We made a place to sweat.
No matter what, we get out of this.
I [F] know, [D] I know we'll never forget.
[C] Smoke [E] on [Ab] the water, fire in the sky.

Woo!
[N] All right.
I love, love Deep Purple.
I love that song.
[Bm] Um, [A] that actually took me a long time to [Gm] figure out how to play [Ebm] the bass part
[N] and the guitar part at the same time.
That little funky rhythm that I, that I did.
So, um, actually this is, I'm kind of, kind of rant for a little bit.
I was very hesitant about playing that song because that part was very hard for me to do.
I didn't think I could make it through the entirety of the song.
[G] But I just put my [N] guitar in the shop with one of the best luthiers in the country.
And I didn't realize [Cm] how much better my guitar could play and sound.
[Gb] So when it came back, I was [E] able to play that song so much easier.
And I was super [N] pumped.
I'm like, all right, I'm ready to perform this one now.
I learned the Richie Blackmore solo as best as I could on acoustic guitar.
Richie Blackmore is one of the greatest guitar players of all time.
He's one of my favorites.
So, uh, I hope you enjoyed my rendition of it.
I know it wasn't note for note, but this channel isn't about guitar.
It's mostly about me singing.
Um, and that's all I got to say about that.
Uh, if you like it and you like all my other stuff, hit that subscribe button over there.
Maybe.
I don't think it's down there.
I'm not sure.
