[G] I'm sitting here in my [C] backyard here in western Wisconsin,
where [F] we are still waking up [G] from the winter,
the blooms are blooming, and [C] the trees are coming [G] back to life.
I thought it would be a good [F] backdrop for the video that [G] I just made.
This is the Will of God with all those [C] springy pictures.
[F] We are so ready [Ab] for spring, let me tell ya. _
This song, I [G] wrote this song about eight [C] or nine years ago, _
and it's still a reminder to me.
[Fm] It's from the perspective of a very task [C]-oriented person.
That would be me.
[G] I love [F] accomplishing things, I love [C] crossing off things on my to-do list.
I know there's a ton of other people [Gm] like me that enjoy that,
but [F] for those people, [Dm] we need [C] the reminder that God [F] is most interested in our [C] hearts,
He's interested in our [F] motivations.
Certainly [G] the first and greatest commandment is [C] to love Him with [G] all of our hearts, minds, and [F] souls.
[Fm] And so those are internal things, [C] even this morning, today's actually Mother's Day,
and my husband, [G] who's a [Ab] pastor here in Wisconsin,
[G] gave a really great message on [C] that woman whose inner beauty comes from [Am] her meek and quiet [Fm] spirit.
And that is what God values.
[C] And I just, I know [G] that for me, I need to be reminded of that often.
[E] So I trust this [G] is a blessing to you.
