[G] Hi, I'm Happy Traum and welcome to the Home Spun Tapes video lesson on 12 string guitar.
It goes [D] from an E, I'm Alabama bound, to an A or [G] A7, I'm Alabama bound, to a [A] B7, if the
train [Em] don't stop [A] and turn [Em] around, I'm [A]
Alabama, back to [D] E, bound.
So let's start with the right hand, I'm playing a D chord with my left hand and I'm playing
my thumb on the fourth [C] string and then the thumb is going to alternate with the third
[G] string.
[C] So I'm playing fourth string, third string.
Then in between each of those thumb
beats I'm going to play a stroke, first with my index finger, on the second, and then the
thumb again, and then middle finger.
So I'm alternating thumb, index, thumb, middle.
Thumb,
index, thumb, middle.
Index, thumb, middle.
[G]
It's a nice little bass run.
[C#] [C]
[B] It's a chromatic
scale from [D]
[C#] D [C] [B] down to B.
[G] [D]
Saying goodbye [C] [G] to everyone.
