[G] everybody, this is Adrian Jander speaking to you from Guitar Point [G] Vintage Guitars in Maital, Germany.
And today it's the rarest of the rarest, rarest birds.
It's a 1959 after read it EMS [Eb] 1235 [Gb] double neck [G] guitar.
Well this is unlike everything I've ever seen.
It's a, well [Gb] how can I say this?
It's a normal, it's a hollow body construction.
It's a [C] spruce [Ab] top, like a thick spruce top, like [G] an arch top guitar.
It's perfectly hollow.
[Gb] It's [G] three PAFs in this guitar.
And well the [Db] six string guitar, the [G] normal guitar,
[Db] it's mainly like a [E] semi hollow body.
[Am] [Ab]
Very beautiful and deep and vocal [A] sound.
[Em] Can [Ab] compete with same period E35, E35.
[Em] And the top guitar is an octave above.
It's also [A] six strings.
[G]
[Em] It's like a mandolin for non-mandolin players.
[G] It's very, you know, [Eb] me with my tuba player hands, I have a little problem here.
But you can [D] get used to it.
[G]
This is a perfectly practical guitar.
It's not heavy because it's hollow.
It's not as heavy as other double necks.
[Gm] You can have really beautiful higher registers.
[E] Especially [B] when you play with two [D] guitars and you know one is, you [G] know, so you don't
interfere with the other guitar.
And the six string, the normal range guitar is beautiful.
It has great chunky neck, but a very [Dbm] comfortable neck.
[A] And it [Eb] has a nice [C] jazz sound.
[E]
[G]
[Em]
It moves and [A] everything.
[C] [A]
[B] [G] [E]
Rock [Em] works too.
And because the neck is, the top is quite thick.
[N] It's probably pretty feedback resistant.
So it's a very rare bird.
It's a great electric guitar.
But you know, I would play a thing like this.
This is really something different.
It's a 1959 EMS 1235 from Gibson.
And this is Ali Nader from [Ab] GuitarPoint Vintage Guitars in Meinl, Germany.
Thank you.
[F] Bye bye.
