_ Um, I uh, so when I started playing music I was in Orlando in my first band, a band called Tabitha Secret.
Me and uh, me and Paul, thanks mom, me and Paul _ and uh Brian from Matchbox 20 were in that band.
And it was, we thought we were hot shit because we were the big local band.
And it's funny how like, later on when you actually, you know, get a record deal you think that's your main goal.

But uh, so we were in this [A#] band and we had a lot of songs and we went to Atlantic Records to try and get a record deal.
And they came and saw us and they passed on us.
And uh, but it was like a slow pass and they said, well you know, later on we'll come back and check in on you.
So _ we broke up as a band and I went away [D#m] for like a 3-4 month period and just wrote a bunch of songs.
And uh, _ I [C] finally met up, this sounds shadier than it is I promise, but I met up with this guy from Atlantic Records [G#] at a Motel 6.
