Hi, I'm Mark Holdoway with kalimba magic here to introduce to you the five note
Hokuma chordal kalimba now when these kalimbas come from Germany
They're all tuned to F minor [F] and if that were all the story there [N] was to tell it would not be very interesting at all
But I realized you could tune them to any chord you [F] want
[Bbm] F major for [Db] example [N] and you could teach kids about harmony with these
Imagine you've got two kids Billy and Susan
Now you say take turns kids
you play a few notes and try to copy each other and Billy [F] might play and
Then Susan would try to do the same [C] thing
But she can't she has to [F] do something else
[C]
[F] [C] [F]
[C] [Ab]
[N] Cool, so kids who can't even spell chord progression can make
Arpeggiated melodies that follow a chord progression, of course, we can get a little more complicated
Do a 1 4 [F] 5
We
[Bb] [C]

[C] [F]
[Fm] could even add the relative minor
