[Bb] We've [Em] [Gm]
[N]
[D]
[Dm] [Cm] been surrounded by music out here in the [Bb] Yarra Valley, Victoria where we live
and also just in [Am] Melbourne.
It's always been a really [Gm] massive scene out here.
We're very lucky to sort of [Am] grow up in Melbourne [Bb] around so much music.
There's something for everyone [Cm] basically, there's so much diversity
and it's kind of hard to not be inspired by that.
[Bb]
[Am]
You know, you can [D] go out [C] and see [Gm] everything from blues, soul through to like rock, metal, classical, [Bb]
jazz.
Being able to just see whatever [A] style of music [Dm] I want [Am] really.
Melbourne's pretty amazing like [E] that.
[N] Louise, please don't try that red red wine
Louise, please don't try that red red wine
I'll tell you in the morning, in the morning you'll be fine
Louise, please don't try that red red wine
We grew [E] up playing [A] music obviously where [N] we live in Melbourne, Victoria.
The [D] music itself hasn't necessarily changed that much, which is [E] funny.
[A] I mean obviously we've all grown as [D] performers and as musicians and [Gbm] kind of our skill set has gotten [D] better
but I think [A] the thing that's [D] probably changed the most is actually the performance [A] side of things.
People often ask us, oh you know what kind of [D] music were you playing ten years ago?
You always played [A] soul and blues and [D] we have, you know, we've grown up listening to that.
I've [G] always played that type of [Gbm] music.
It's just such a privilege to be able to just hang out with my friends, write music and just [G] put everything [A] into that.
[D] Being able to put all of our energy into music now we've been writing lots of stuff
and not having to do our [G] day jobs and not having to do that has been really, you know, [Eb] been really good.
[Bbm] It's just such a big change to [Db] play to crowds that are there [Cm] specifically to [Bb] see you
and it's just a different energy in [Db] the room and it's just really [Cm] amazing.
[Bbm]
[D] A lot of the big international acts that come to [B] Melbourne and come and play [Bb] at the [D] Forum Theatre
[Cm] and it [D] feels like this kind of [Cm] pinnacle moment for us to kind of be doing our first show there
and so this is like a really big moment for [Gb] us to be playing at the [Bm] Forum Theatre
[Bb] and to have sold it out and have so many people coming down and see us here
and have this amazing support from Melbourne.
So [C] we pinch ourselves every day about it and it's a really momentous moment to be playing the Forum Theatre.
My God.
