[D] Okay folks, what we're going to do now is relatively simple, but that's what we're here for.
[Dm] show you something that a lot of beginner [G] players don't actually know.
[A#] walk down.
you go [D] to your D, back [A] to your A, now where you go to your E, [E]
[G#] I'm
come back from A to [D] D, I'm slowing it back down to A.
[C#m] [A] [Am] Okay?
get it.

_ [D] Okay folks, what we're going to do now is relatively simple, but that's what we're here for.
I'm going to [Dm] show you something that a lot of beginner [G] players don't actually know.
This here is called a 5-1 [A#] walk down.
Say you're in the key of A.
Okay?
[A] So you're doing A, _ _ you go [D] to your D, _ _ _ back [A] to your A, _ now where you go to your E, [E] _
_ _ _ [G#] I'm
going to give you an alternative.
[A] Okay?
So after we've come back from A to [D] D, I'm slowing it back down to A.
_ I'm going to teach [E] you this.
_ [D] _ _
[C#m] _ _ [A] _ _ [Am] Okay?
So you've heard that a million [G] times.
Here's how you get it.
If you [D] actually take your A all the way up to the [C] 9th fret, okay?
Don't bother my double [A] dots, they're actually up here too.
These martins are built kind of weird with the dots on them.
[G] Anyway, so you're going all the way up to the 9th fret, _ [F#] _
_ [E] _ _ _ _ _ major chord, that's your E.
Now your D is [A] just down two [D] frets. _ _ _
_ _ _ [E] _ _ [D] _ So it's major, major, then minor, minor.
[G#] So now we're going back to a minor chord, looks like an A [C#m] minor.
_ So you're actually starting on the 6th [A] fret, [A#] so you got 6th fret, 6th [C#m] fret, 6th fret, 5th fret.
Then you [G#] take that whole minor down [Bm] two more frets.
_ _ [A] Then back to your A.
[E] So you've got E, _ _ [A] _ [D] _ D, C sharp [C#m] minor, _ _ [Bm] B minor, _ down [A] to A.
_ Okay?
So here I go play it real quick for you.
_ _ _ _ [D] _ _ _
_ _ _ [G] _ [A] _ Here comes the walk down.
_ [E] _ _ _ [C#m] _ _ _
[A] _ _ [N] So just a variation, something fun for you to work on.
