[Bbm] Hi, I'm Mal Pedoway and I'm delighted to be playing for you this Preston Thompson guitar.
This was built for me early this year actually.
And I'm just, you know, the more I play it, the more I fall in love with it.
And I want everyone to know that I've played all the good guitars and this one's up there
with the [Bb] best of them.
I got him to make me a triple-o 12th fret with the standard scale length, which is 25-4.
And what that does is it puts the bridge back into this, what they call the sweet spot on the [A] top.
And it really makes a difference to me because I play a lot in altered tunings and I like
to have the extra tension that that gives it.
Plus, I think I can really just, you know, hammer into it and never have to worry about
it wimping out on me.
So that kind of freedom makes me play much better and I really enjoy myself.
And I'll play you a little bit of it just to show you what kind of thing it's just
The high notes are so sweet and [D]
the low notes are rich and clear.
So you really don't have to worry about any of that stuff that you do on most guitars.
And so I can just relax and play.
Here's one I haven't even recorded yet.
I'll just play a little bit of it for you.

[A] [G] [D]
[G] [Bb] [D]
[D] [Dm]
A little bit of a [D] train.
[E]
And there you have it.
I love this guitar.
Thank you so much, Preston, and all your crew up there for making me a very happy guy.
