[G] [C]
[Em] Hi guys, I'm Alan Walker and today I'm going to show you guys the making of [C] my song Sing With The Chief.
It pretty much started with one of [E] my team sent me a melody and [C] they wanted me to work on the melody and to give it the Alan Walker [Em] vibe.
So we just started to work on it and then we got the instance we wanted to sing [C] demo vocals and they just kicked ass.
[Em] In the beginning we had this reversed piano along [C] with some pads and actually the vocals [A] as well.
We actually chopped up the vocal and made a pluck.
[Em]
[E] The thing with this combined with the piano in the beginning is that it creates that right atmosphere that I think just creates the whole [C] track.
[E]
[G#m] In the [N] first verse we kind of like start to build up the track so I tried to keep it [E] simple.
Some chords and plucks and also muted guitars.
[C] We also have [Em] a pan.
[E]
[Am] And [D] [G] at this part here [G#] we also added the solo that I also used in for example Fade, Spectre and Faded.
[C]
[Em]
Some of my sounds are self made [C] but most of the sounds that I use are from plugins.
When it [Em] comes to plugins I mainly use Naxxus, Silent Worm and Spire.
[C] During the stages [Am] of creating Sing Me To Sleep [Em] I think what has changed the most is the draft because we [C] weren't happy with the leads we used and [F#] I had to create something new.
Basically I spent a lot of time [G] just to find new leads.
[D]
[G] Then [F#] I layered it with the leads [Em] that I found.
[G] [C] [D]
[G] [D]
[G] [C] [D]
[G] [D] And that's it!
