They're all instruments to me, so I'm not a big you're this is like a eurorack [N] standard modular.
I'm more into instruments
I haven't I sort of gotten away or out of the eurorack scene just because it's overwhelming
There's so much stuff so many different things and make noise stuff.
I love because it's you know Tony and Kelly
It's a company that really puts an effort into presenting an instrument as opposed to a collection of modules
You could use the modules in your own system if you wanted to this is an ideal setup for live
In the sense that the way that I use the make noise is mostly for drone things
And there's always a clock going into the and that's the cool thing about it
You know it's it's very easy for me to tune it in real time and
Just bring it in and feel like there's something that will fit
It's never something that requires too [C] much attention sonically in the sense that would take over everybody else
It's very malleable as a sound and I feel like I've been [Bb] using it long enough that I know where to go to
This would be the sequence we start with was just a then you had a little bit of delay
And then you have reverb [Ebm] [Bb] and then you can sequence the size of the reverb with the same CV
That would be changing the pitch so you get [Ebm] stuff like this,
[D] and then there's a tilt control on it since [F] 2014 my rig
It's been a mixture of you know the synth textural
[G] Part of the band and I switched to bass and more guitar and in this specific
Lineup, I'm doing I would say 80% of my my show is guitars and bass
And I still [C] retain what [G] I was doing
synth wise and sound wise
For the tracks is just a set list as evolved in a way where there's more need for that
And then I'm using a profit 12 for sounds for you know the main lines and whatnot
And then the profit 12 also acts as a controller for the main rig
When it comes to plugins or whatever I'm using for certain things and and then as far as instruments
Which is you know as I said now 80% of what I do for bass
I use the fender and now I have a this is actually a modern version
Which is actually a Duff McKagan model, and you know I grew up
I'm a 1976 so the 80s and 90s Guns N' Roses obviously was a big thing so and this one has my favorite sticker on it
[Db] And as far as guitars, I have a little bit of [C] everything
but I'm mostly been playing Ibanez which as a kid was my favorite brand and
[A] So this is a new FR
Which basically [N] I'm able to use for like mostly for the heaviest stuff for the for the like old old-school
Tracks which are a little bit more direct on and off.
It's so nice to be able just to do whatever
Whatever makes you feel good or whatever feels good for the project and in a way that it doesn't feel that there's any limitation
I mean when it comes to working with Trent
I I don't know if it's because we work together for so long, but it does feel like he's always open to new things
there's never like a
Inquisitive look unless obviously something doesn't go according to plan, but he's always open to things being rear
Reinterpreted sonically in a way that you know that adds to whatever was written [A] in the studio
[B] [G]
[D]
