[Eb]
[Cm] A lot of people ask me how I warm up before I play before a show or a studio or something
like that and I'm going to show you a couple of things that I do that get both of my hands warmed up.
First thing is actually a riff from the song Are You Dead Yet?
And it's a good one for your right hand because you've got to do a lot of hopping between
the strings.
You've got to go from the low E to B and E.
And play slow first.
[C]
[Eb] [C]
[Bb] [Db] [G] And regular speed.
[Eb] [C]
And another one is sort of a jelly sounding thingy.
It's a picking thing.
And here it is slow.
[B]
[E]
[B] [E]
Regular speed.
[Gm] Okay, and this is something for your right hand, you know, when you do rhythms.
These are actually triplets, [E] I'm going to play it slow first.
[G]
[Ab] [G]
[F] [G]
[F] [C]
And a little bit faster.
