And your second instalment of show and tell is, Alexi [E] Leho's signature model ESP, what is it? _
Um, model, _ I don't know if they have model numbers.
It's just Alexi Leho.
Yeah, they could just call this one the Pink [F] Sorted.

_ [N] Yeah, the other one's like, there's the new, because this is like an older model, [F#] they
don't even have this on the ESP side.
The ones they have on [D#] there, there's a black one called Blacky, so that would be the [F#] designation
for that one.
_ There's a white one as well, I can't think _ what they call that one, but yeah.

I liked it as soon as you plugged it in.
It's, [Dm] you know, it sounds like, even plugging, I mean, we've got a little, like, you know,
[Em] I was going to [F] say, yeah, $300 amp [G] here, and it's sounding great, you know.
Yeah.
From my basis of comparison, that's what I'm hearing all the time with students plugging
in different guitars and straight away.
Yeah.
I think that's the beautiful thing about ESP, there's such a level [F#] sound as far as in the
sense of your lows, your mids, your highs, there's, you don't need to do a lot of tweaking,
they're [Gm] just a very even sounding [G] guitar, and for that, you know, they record really
well as well.
Yeah.
A great metal guitar, just throwing through, aren't they?
Yeah.
[F] Yeah, well even, you [E] know, that sort of tone there is not too bad for [Dm] a clean.
_ _ [C] So it is only the bridge pickup, [A#]
so, you know, I guess [F#] it's not so much designed for clean
because generally clean doesn't [B] sound great on bridge.
Yeah, that's my point, yeah.

It does do the job, especially if you put some effects in there, some_

_stuff
like that, reverb and whatnot, you can get it sounding really nice.

_ [G] Have you heard any _ [B] words of Alexi [Bm] talking about the pink one?
Does he talk about it with irony or does he just like pink?
I think I did hear that somewhere, I can't remember, I watched a video somewhere.
You'd think it'd be [G] a bit of irony.

[F#] I mean, you look at him, he's, you know, they're not serious at all.
The DVD that they have, [A#] the Stockholm Knockout DVD, [F] someone threw a little fuzzy hat up on
the [C] stage and he's like, oh, cool, and he's like, throw it on.
[C#] Yes, yeah.
They're not [G] serious at all.
You watch all [F#] the stuff they get up to, like it shows you on tour and stuff.
[E] Yeah, I've watched a bit of that.
The stuff they get up to, they're just stupid.
[E] There's one bit there, he's [D#] in the hotel room, he just like runs and then he jumps
and springs off the bed into the wall into like a framed [B] picture and just smashes [B] the glass.
He's like a jackass.
Yeah, [F#] just crazy.
But [C] this was, I went, this was like sort of my first [A] _ big gig that I went to, first time
to go to Melbourne for a [E] gig, it was at Bodum, and [Em] he brought [D#] this one out, it's the first
one he walked out with, like his new one that he had, I'd seen it in film clips and stuff.
_ _ He brought that out, I was like, [A] oh, that looks so cool.
[Em] I just really like the pink and the [F#] black.
And it's active pickups, that's the other interesting thing as well.
Yeah, active pickups.
Flip over, I like that plate, that's [E] really cool, it's really kind of cool and industrial and stuff.
Yeah.
_ [C] We'll zoom in so you can have a bit of, actually [D#] no, we can't because it's not going to refocus.
[F#] Anyway, yeah, it's got that little thing. _
_ A few people that I've read and sort of saw online and stuff like that, they would say
the newer [B] ones have a [G] cover, I'm led [G#] to believe, over all the springs there for the Floyd [B] Rose.
Cover schmava.
Apparently it changes the tone a little bit.
I don't know whether that's just [F#] head focal or_
How about working on your playing more like?
Yeah.
I think that's more important than whether [E] there's a cover that changes the tone.
Yeah, I always do, I always leave the plastic on.
I don't know [N] whether that was already curled up like that, which is annoying, but_
