Start Jamming...
[N] [Bb] You mean, loaning us a couch to sleep on.
And we will [Bbm] reciprocate, who [E] defines us.
[F]
[E] Sometimes we might need to borrow your [A] washing machine and dryer.
[Am]
You should see Stephanie.
[Bb]
[G] [E]
I'd less like to blame her on your [Gb] leg injury.
[Bb] I have this friend named Bruce, that always comes to the Baltimore Maryland shows and sometimes the DC shows,
[Ab] and he brings me a bottle of [A] red wine, [Bbm] a $15 value or greater.
[G] I never forget, she's my best friend in the whole country.
[Am]
[Bb] [Am]
[Bb] Bo?
Yes, but [B] I have this other [Bbm] friend, [G] [Bbm] Brenda Worth, she always comes to [A] my shows in [Abm] New Jersey,
and she brings a [Bb] hardback copy of a book because she knows that on the road you need the latest and greatest bestsellers,
and you need them to be sturdy.
[D]
Just so you can [Gm] beat folks with them.
[Eb] [Em] [G] Bo the Vice.
[Bb] That's a [G] weird name to give our wives.
[Bb] No, but we really do [G] make a lot of really cool friends.
[Bb] [Am]
[E]
[Bbm] I met this guy though, in Tampa, Florida, when I was playing a show a lot like [Bb] this one.
It was outdoors, it was in Tampa.
There was people there.
He came up to the merchandise table after I finished playing songs, and he said,
Hi, I'm Tiger Bill, I heard that you love presents, so I brought you one.
And this man was reeking of
Or marijuana.
He just did it.
He smelled a lot like that, it could have been a number of things, but truly I don't know the difference.
[G] [Bb]
[Em] And he had a [Bb] ponytail, and a Hawaiian shirt, and a tan, and he thrust across the table this lunch bag,
kind of crumpled up, and I said, Alright!
I [B] just threatened to [Bb] gun him.
[Ab] And so I [Bb] politely opened it, and then I looked inside the bag and caught [E]
[Bb] my words, you know, got them together.
I was like, Oh, thank [Gb] you.
[Bb] There was claws, and teeth, and fur, and whiskers, and what looked like to be dried up blood or dirt.
[Bbm] And then
[E] I [Ab] said, [E] Thank you so much, this is the best [Bb] present.
I don't even [Bbm] know what to say.
He's like, I know what [B] you're thinking.
[Bb]
[Gb] [Bb] He said, I rescue wild cats.
I said, Oh, I love it, this is great.
[A] I just thought it was going to [Bb] be something else.
[G] [Ab]
[A] Presents now, I [Gb] really love them.
[Bbm]
Anyway, [Bb]
he said, if you throw it away, [A] you should at [Bb] least keep the whiskers and the claw, because it's going to make you bulletproof.
And I said, What the heck?
And she went with it.
[Am]
[Bb]
So [Am] Tiger Bill gave me a tiger claw, from a real Siberian tiger claw.
He [E] said, This will make you [A] bulletproof.
So I've got this tiger claw, from this real Siberian [Am] tiger claw, [E] in my pocket.
And [Bb]
I'm thinking now,
Let's be bulletproof.
[C]
And I'm thinking now,
[Bb]
Why would [Em] we?
[E]
[A]
Does bulletproof [C] include bubbles in airs?
[A] Hatchets in airs,
Ventilators,
Anything [E] that packs salt?
Hand [C] grenades,
[Am] We could set me up [C] in a factory,
[Am] Have ourselves a live party,
[E] Try all the guns, Donald,
Bring out [Am] your switchblade,
[C] [Am]
And maybe folks with a [C] gun,
[Am] Have a purchase to try to live without,
And [E] we could charge money.
We could charge them all.
[Am]
[F] And I'm thinking now,
[C] [F] What if I really could be bulletproof?
[G]
[C]
[F] And I'm thinking now,
What if [C] I really could be bulletproof?
[E]
[A]
Against you, shotgun, [C] it crossed my mind,
Did I [Am] take it back [A] too many times?
Did [E] I need armor?
Did I think you'd do?
Against [Am] all my [C] ways, your words cut through,
We're getting promises, breaking into open movement,
[E] The result in this car.
[Am]
[F] And I'm thinking now,
Could I really somehow,
[C]
[F] And I'm thinking now,
Could I really [C] somehow,
Be bulletproof?
[G]
[E] [A]
[F] And I'm thinking [C] now,
[F] Could I [C] really somehow be bulletproof?
[F] And I'm thinking now,
Could I [Cm] really somehow be bulletproof?
[C] [E] [A]
[E] [Abm]
