The song is really really good.
And when I think about the Doobie Brothers we've done them you know I would say quite
a few times here on the channel.
When we first learned about them, first got into them, we were like oh my goodness this is amazing.
And then it showed the picture and we're like holy cow there were so many people in the group.
They always roll with I guess a lot of people helping them along the way.

The [N] drums and it's like the hand drums.
I feel like we got two different sets of drums going.
And then you get the harmonies which was really cool and then boom.
It just, I'm talking that pace.
It just went so so mellow and you got the straight bluesy.
The guitar with that, when he went to that part, that Jesus.
You know I feel like your jaw opened, your shoulders dropped.
Like yeah, the mood switched.
We were rocking and the drums were absolutely like stand out.
And then yeah, we slowed down and it got the vocals just you know.
They started to just go for it.
You are my friend.
Yeah and it was really bluesy and he's saying you know.
He was talking about how basically you know Jesus.
Jesus is his friend.
Right.
This way and that way you know.
I was like some of the lyrics earlier in the song he was saying I don't care what they say.
So it feels really spiritual but at the beginning.
Right.
It's really rocking and it has a lot of really cool elements to it.
That the Doobie Brothers always carry.
And it's like it is a feel spiritual in the sound.
But then when you listen to the lyrics like you get that.
So I think that's also, that's a cool combination in itself right there.
And I think that to me that's what makes it really cool.
Like I said when it goes to that bluesy part and the way he just screams out Jesus.
Yeah.
It's the feeling and the passion.
Yes.
It is so so cool.
Like I like the first half.
Man when they hit that transition.
