I've assembled a new tune.
It's called Among My Souvenirs.
[Bm] Yes, it's a bit [A] cheesy, but it's great to play.
It was originally sung and made popular by Connie Francis way back in 1959, [E] and has since
then been stylized by Cezar Manolili as [Bm] a very nice guitar rendition done in [A] and around the 1980s.
Though written in 1927 [Bb] by Lawrence Wright, this melody in my view still has [F] that certain
appeal, particularly Manolili's interpretation with its nice guitar lines and well-placed harmonies.
In my version, I replaced the electric guitar with a classical guitar.
_ I just felt the mellow sound of an acoustic guitar would be a better match for the overall
tone and delivery of the song itself, rather than the edgier sound produced by an electric guitar.
Also, I've got a great backtrack that I believe gives the song a very nice modern appeal.
