ANOTHER CITY POP BANGER!!! | Oh! Tengo Suerte - Masayoshi Takanaka REACTION chords
Start Jamming...
Yo, what's good everybody?
It's Leon.
I'm back with another video and in today's video
I'm going to be reacting to another artist that was recommended to me in the comment section down below
One of my previous videos where I react to Anne-Marie's last summer whisper song
It was from the genre of city pop that's popular in Japan.
And I said I need more artists like this
I really enjoyed that genre and this one comes from
Masayoshi Takenaka's album all of me released in
1979 which I'm assuming is a city pop genre album
Which I'm really excited to get into because last time I reacted to it.
It was really good
So I'm going to be reacting to the song.
Oh
Tango sir sir sir, I don't know how to pronounce that but regardless of it
Let's get right into it.
And as always, thank you guys for watching subscribe to the channel hit that notification bell
And let's get right into the reaction
[F#m] [D]

[D] [G]
[D] organ was nice, [Em] too
[D] [E] [C#]
[D] [Bm] Okay, [A]
[N] so this song first started off of a more
George Harrison vibe and as you guys know Beatles George Harrison is my favorite Beatle of all time
Especially his solo project all things must pass the slide guitar on the album goes crazy
That's instantly what I thought of when I heard the slide come in
it reminded me of also Fleetwood Mac song dreams with that, you know that kind of reverb echo kind of like the
Dissidence kind of thing like fading away really nicely
Smoothly transitions then it comes into this more acoustic funky soul vibe.
That's like Stevie Wonder
Superstition kind of clavicle kind of vibe.
It's really good so far
I really enjoying this and the effects on this stuff is really meshing really [A] well
cohesive as hell smooth
[D] [Em]
[Bm] [C#]
[A] [G] [F#m]

[Em] [A] [Bm]
[Gm]
[A] [B]
[Am] [D] Oh
[A] Okay, this is not the approach I thought this
Was gonna take I did not think they were gonna take the vocal approach of a more lower octave higher pitch kind of like
I forgot what the name is of this is called, but it's definitely lower pitch
Really nicely well done
Let's keep going
[Dm] [A]
[D] Okay, [Em]
[A] [D] [G]
[A] [D] [Em]
[D] [Em]
[A] [D] [Em]

[F#m] [D] [Em]
[F#m] [D] [Em] [A]
[D] [A] [Em] [A]
[N] this song gives me a lot of like
Nice tropical island vibes and I don't know if that's because of the picture of the album where he's skydiving
Which is a sick album cover.
I you know, it's really nicely done
I like how high quality is you can see all the clouds in the background the island down below him
The difference in the water from the deep ocean into the shore or whatever that areas goes shallow part of the beach
Really nicely done.
This music is very soothing
You know, I'm enjoying this a lot and I'm starting to get understanding of City pop a little bit more in terms of the music side
It's a lot of elements going around that are more positively
in terms of
It's not as dark as I thought City pop would sound like which I guess
Implements the whole pop part and the pop usually is more uplifting bright kind of sounds not very dark and shallow and deep and mellow
Kind of stuff and this one is a definitely more upbeat kind of feeling maybe that changes throughout the album
I'm not you know, I'm gonna
I'm definitely gonna check out this album and I'm going to make a review of this album
So click the subscribe button in the notification, but so you're alerted for all, you know, lush electric exports coming soon
but this album I mean this song is
Really good and I'm gonna finish it off and it's only a couple seconds left.
So let's [A] keep going
[D] [Bm]
[D] [A#]
[N] okay, that's actually that was it and
You know, I really enjoyed it.
It reminded me of like
You know afro kind of jazz music like fella cootie and stuff like that
but Japanese version this feels like a jazz kind of pop album or a jazz pop kind of song and
Just not what I was expecting from City pop City pop is it definitely more?
Rabbit-hole kind of genre that I have to get more depth into and I want to know what they were saying
And maybe this is just kind of like the intro for the album.
It is the intro of the album, but I just
Wanted to see I want to see where this goes next and I'm definitely gonna be doing a review
So stay tuned for that.
This song was really good.
I really enjoyed it Masayoshi Takanaka
