_ How's it going everyone, Kalei Gamial here at the Ukulele site.
_ Right now we're going to be doing some string comparison with the famous Aquila strings.
And this one right here that I have on this ukulele is your standard _ _ supernalgut strings
that come on most of the ukuleles that you see in stores.
_ Kala strings them up a lot with these types of strings.
So I'll just give you a little sound sample and you can compare which string sets and
the differences as we go along throughout this video.

_ _ Right now we have the red right here.
_ And it's a tenor high G set. _ _
Let's see how it sounds.

_ _ _ _ _ _ Well this is the sound that everyone is used to [N] hearing.
_ _ _ But in my opinion I like the sugar and the lava out of the four.
_ I think the red one is _ _ a little too _ gritty for me. _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ The sugar is in _ _ between a didario and a warth type of string.
And then _ the lava, _ _ _ even though it's supposed to be _ a black version of these, _ it _ feels and
sounds different in my opinion.
I don't know, maybe it's the color that's causing me to _ think I'm hearing something different.
I think they _ _ _ _ _ even feel a little different.
Yeah they do.
I think it's a bit _ more _ comfortable in my opinion.
More natural.
_ [B] _ _ _ _
_ _ A _ little bit more balanced maybe.
More balanced?
I hear more mid range.
These, the C and E can be a bit punchy at certain frequencies.
Yeah it can.
And then the A kind of like_
Yeah it drops out a little bit.
And this is, the lavas to me seem like a little bit more clear.
Yeah, like even sound.
_ Very balanced. _ _ _
