_ _ _ _ Tuning's a strange thing, it can take you into musical areas that are, you know, that
are not supposed to exist.
_ But it's one of the adventures, is playing around, [E] you know, in different tunings.
All of the open tunings are good for slide [F#] playing.
_ [B] _ _ I, being perverse, decided not to play slide on them, but to figure out how to play _ minor
chords, how to play diminished chords _ [E] on those tunings, [F#] which _ [B] gives me a rush and I don't
know about the rest of you.
You know, it's just something that fascinates me, and I found that you can get some of the
most amazing chords that you cannot get on a [F#] regular tuning.
[B] Even though [E] you're _ [B] constricted, maybe it's the constriction of the number of notes that
there are to play, because a lot of them are repeats.
Maybe it's to do with the fact that because they're repeated notes, they're droning in different [F#] octaves.
_ _ And I'm still learning, and [E] that's as far as I've got.
My finished paper [F#] will come out _ [B] _ in about the year 2050.
