Yeah, working with John, you know, at first, John was wearing these dark sunglasses and
he wasn't talking much and although he and I have been friends, like I said, since high
we never worked together.
I knew he's a cool guy, but when you're working with somebody
side.
put it into music form what it feels like to work with John.
this most of [Eb] the time.
[G] [Cm] of like that.

in all honesty, he's very talented, especially, you know, he's got this really thick voice.
You listen to his voice on the record and he's got a lot of different _ transients.
I don't know how to write the right word or whatever, but he's got this very complex voice.
Although it's very raspy, _ it's got a lot of personality to it.
So that's very cool.
And I really have enjoyed this process with the guys _ of writing and recording right away.
And so I've been seeing how John, you know, of course we can just sit down, make up _ a
song, and make a song.
And then it comes down to the singer then has to put melodies on it and _ lyrics and stuff.
And it's great to see how John works. _ _ _
He'll like, you know, you'll give him an idea, like we were talking about with this one song
and I said, John, that song's about you, man.
That's like, it's easy.
And he looked at me, he pulled his glasses down, he's like, nah, that makes it harder.
Because, you know, I guess he's_
But he really does great with coming up with different lyrics.
If you give him a topic, he'll start firing off all this stuff.
So it's been very cool. _ _ _
