Jam Along & Learn...
We do what inspires us and we sort of [N] ignore everything else.
We pretty much ignore pop culture.
ignore the idea of money or fame or record sales.
enjoy.
[Gm]
[Bb] [G]
I don't know if it, I mean of course it's fair to say if whoever listens to it has [Gb] that idea,
fair to say.
We pretty much ignore pop culture.
ignore the idea of money or fame or record sales.
enjoy.
[Gm]
[Bb] [G]

We do what inspires us and we sort of [N] ignore everything else.
We pretty much ignore pop culture.
_ We ignore the idea of _ money or fame or record sales.
All we do is try to write songs that we enjoy.
And oddly enough, that's kind of rare.

I don't know if it, I mean of course it's fair to say if whoever listens to it has [Gb] that idea,
you know, it's always fair to say.
_ _ _ _ I feel like if this had been our sixth record, it would still
probably sound more organic.
And I'm not really sure why, other than we have a really, really
relaxed attitude [F] _ in the rehearsal room when it comes to songwriting.
We just do _ and work on
whatever ideas in front of us that day.
We don't leave until we have a finished song.
[Ab] Sometimes
that's 45 minutes, sometimes that's like six hours, it depends.
But _ [Fm] it takes, there's no
[Gb] guesswork involved.
It's like, you know, if you [Ab] bring in an idea, it's going to become a song.
[Bb] There's no stress.
There's no worrying [Db] about maybe somebody shooting down your idea and then you feel
embarrassed.
And so maybe you won't bring in the next [Bb] thing that comes to your mind.
So it's very
free that way.
And that I think has just lent [Dm] itself to some very relaxed sort of [D] raw rock record. _ _ _
