This is a version that I did I played to on the tiny desk concert
He puts a capo on the third fret and pretty sure in the recording on the album recording
I think the capo is on a different fret when I refer to the chords.
I'm not going to refer to the actual
I'm going to refer to the chord forms
You know like say I'll call this
D but actually that's not really a D.
It's an F, but I'm just going to call it a D for the purposes of this
So any course we have there's an E [Gm] minor and then he's playing [F] a D
but he does a fancy D where he plays an F sharp in the bass and
leaves the B string open so it's
[G] I guess
[Gm] [Am]
But if you can't do that you could probably get away with just playing an E minor to a D
[F] [Gm] [F] And then the next chord that comes up is a C major 7 which is like this
But he plays a G in the bass and a
nice battered sound [Bb] and then the next chord is a regular G and
Then a chord that comes up over and over is on the eighth fret your middle finger on the
fifth [G] string and your first finger on the seventh fret
[Bb]
It's another form of a D, [G] but
[Am]
[Gm] [F] [Gm]
Back to the C
[G] [F]
[Gm] [Am] [Eb] And then the only other chord in it [Dm] is a [F] minor 7 which is like this
[Gm]
[Eb] [Bb]
[Eb]
[Bb] [Gm]
[Eb] So that's it it's an [Gm] E minor the [F] D or the fancy D
[Am]
The C major 7 with the G in [Gm] the bass
[Bb] G
[Dm] sky
[Gm] Right back to the
C major 7 again
[Am] [Gm]
[Dm] [Gm] [Bb]
[Eb] [Bb]
I
[Eb] kept running the bridge
[Bb]
[Eb]
[Bb]
[Dm]
You
[Eb]
[Gm]
[Gm]
[Cm] So if you know the six chords [C] that are in it
I think you should be able to put those in the place where [A] they go.
I hope that that helps out
