[D] [F#m] I wish [E] all these folks [D] who claim they're woke would just go [C#] back to sleep.
[F#m] I'm just saying, [D] have we all [E] lost our minds?
[F#m] I'm just saying, [D] where do we [A] draw the [E] line?
All right, that's Nashville country artist Austin Moody releasing his brand new woke
bashing anthem called I'm Just Saying.
And the powerful new song calling out rampant crime, college indoctrination and trans culture exploiting children.
Well, it's made its way to the top of the charts.
Joining me now, the man himself, country singer Austin Moody.
Austin, welcome to Frontline.
Lydia, good to be here.
And honestly, it's kind of unbelievable that I am.
I can't believe this song is doing so well and just proves to me that there's a still
a strong moral compass in this country.
Talk to me about the success.
We're saying it's topping the charts.
It's really unprecedented what it's doing.
[G#] Really is.
Yeah.
Last time I checked, is it [G] number six on the iTunes charts?
[F#] And [G] to put it in perspective, if you get on through the first 200 folks, just about all
of them are signed [Fm] to a major label.
[E] And [G] I put this song out on my own label independently [D#] with really no team behind it.
[F] So it's fan driven.
My friends over at Breitbart did a few articles.
And that's really the reason I think [C] this thing is blowing up and everybody's [N] picking
up on it now.
So it's pretty cool.
And you've been quoted as saying that one of the main reasons for the song is your 15
month old daughter, who you quote, don't want growing up in a liberal run America.
That's right.
You know, again, the song's not about me.
It's about us.
It's about the people who's listening to it.
And having a daughter really changed my perspective.
Beforehand, I was [D] trying to stay out of the political realm.
And [E] I just wanted to be able to look back on what I did and [F#m] that I stood for something.
[C#] If [D] I'm going to be an artist, [E] I want to make sure I [F#m] stand for something.
Johnny [G] Paycheck was one of the first guys to do it, [F#] would take this job and shove it.
And he was a hero.
[G] And eventually in that situation, the underdog won.
So I think it's important.
Really my objective was just to let people know, hey, you're not alone.
And I hear you, man.
Don't be afraid to say something.
All right, Austin Moody, thank you so much for being with us.
And I wish you continued success.
Thank you.
