Hi guys, this is Raghav Sachar as you can see.
This is Raghav Sachar Music and Auto-Tune [N] Studios.
And I'm going to give you a small tour.
So this is the reception and the waiting area for everybody and anybody who comes.
[A] And this is also sometimes [C] where we have our food and our lunch.
And lunch over here is phenomenal.
Whenever you come here you must [A] tell me.
Chicken, different varieties of chicken, different varieties of dal.
We have a back [N]-end deal with a phenomenal canteen here.
Come on in.
Here is where the magic happens.
[Am] This guy is [N] working on a song that's about to release now.
So here is where we are making music.
There are phenomenal Genelecs with a superb sub over there.
As Haritha is showing you now.
The sound is very nice and very true.
The Phantom Center is fabulous.
The vocals are heard very well.
Very nice seating [Cm] arrangement where people can chill [N] out.
One of the really cool features that I like is whenever I'm recording, there's this talkback issue.
So you have to tell the engineer, switch on talkback and then talk.
So the good thing is we have a remote here which is like this click on, click off kind of remote.
So I keep walking like that and I keep talking whenever I need to.
So he doesn't need to go through the process of actually pressing talkback, not pressing.
Sometimes you do not want them to hear something.
You want them to hear something.
Sometimes they hear something that they should not be hearing.
So all that kind of stuff happens.
Besides these there are the near-fields or the mid-fields so you can say.
The Eves SC407s.
They are fabulous again.
During recording, dubbing, really help out.
The amplifiers for the huge Genelecs are placed over there.
There's a Mac Pro with Logic with a UAD card as well, the Apollo.
There's a 32-channel input Orion Plus Thunderbolt which is then for mastering and stuff is connected to the 16-channel 2-Bus Plus
which then is in turn connected to the Dangerous compressor.
Phenomenal machines these two.
For mastering, it really helps.
It really works out very well.
The Roli is there for funky playing whenever whoever is into it.
There's the Avalon 737, one of my, I think the best machine that I have over here.
Preamp for recording vocals and multiple other things.
Then the Focusrite 8-channel with a patch bay which is connected.
For drums, there is an 8-channel core drum patch over there which I will show you shortly.
There is two mics, four lines, two headphones outs.
The same thing is over there as well on the opposite side.
So people when they are sitting here, jamming, guitarists, keyboardists can all come in.
And you know, when we rehearse also there's a lot of room here so we can sit down and everybody pretty much can fit in.
Come let me show you the booth and then I'll come and show you the most cool stuff which is automation.
So the booth is here.
That is Tushar's table, my assistant who is working.
That's also a fully fledged workstation with a MIDI controller with a small Apogee.
One sound card.
Nice big screen to work on.
So a lot of production work happens over here.
The MSP5s.
Then coming here, moving on over here, this is the drum section where the drummer usually sits.
And that's why the 8-channel over here and the two headphone outs.
Your main vocal mic is here.
There is also a fabulous ribbon mic for saxophones and flutes and stuff that I play a lot.
A lot of other musicians would love it as well.
Violins would be mic'd very well on that as well.
Then you have another four mic and two line and headphones over here.
Then there is a headphone amp over here with the 6.
So if you have a lot of vocalists who are coming in for backing vocals and stuff like that, it works very well over there.
This is a very cool feature.
This is a swivel TV on the swivel.
So what I have done is the main TV which is in the control room is parallelly synced with this.
Whatever is happening on that TV is also shown over here.
So in case I am sometimes recording and I need to see logic, whatever is happening, how is the waveform coming out,
however, he can just drag and drop the logic on that, on the top TV and it will mirror it over here.
Fabulous for lyrics, for advertisement work going on, then of course your TV ads happen.
You can split screen as well and have the ad playing at one place, the script on the other hand.
So it's been made in such a manner that you really have everything at your fingertips.
I really like this kind of a dead zone over here for vocal recording.
The reflection is very low.
So it gives you a fabulous room sound.
Moving on, we have recorded some tabla dholak parts with the newer microphones.
Some room microphones are also put.
The results are fabulous.
So this is where all the vocals and saxophones and stuff happen.
Come, let me show you the automation feature.
So everything pretty much is on the iPad.
The air conditioning, the lights, the moods.
So whenever we are recording at night, of course there is a lot of daylight right now,
but whenever [B] we are recording at night, you can absolutely just change the recording mode
[N] and go into recording and it will just dim everything.
There will be a nice top light over here.
There will be a light over there.
If I am mixing, I like absolute dark.
Just a little bit playback is different.
Meetings are different.
So these lights will come on over here for meeting.
Certain lights will go off.
So the same thing is with TV.
Everything is over here.
So if control room, which is this TV, I can just touch that and it goes off.
Similarly, if you want to switch on the, as I was telling you, the mirror,
so you go to Dubroom TV, the Dubroom TV will come on
and it will basically show you exactly the same thing.
So the mirror will be the same.
And so on and so forth.
So Dubroom has its own set of different vibes like a guitar, the vocal,
and if you want all the lights on right now, we are keeping it on.
So you can see the mirror over there.
Anything I do on this reflects over there, which is very, very handy.
So, yeah, so guys come down, drop in, come see the place, enjoy the food,
enjoy the ambience and it's very, very creative, very positive.
I would love for musicians to be here and explore it.
Fabulous for mixing engineers, fabulous for tracking engineers.
So here is my invitation.
Drop in, say hello and start using the place.
[C] Cheers.
