[Ab] Alright, so this one here, [N] we're taking basically the same chords.
This is the Sheik song, Soup
for one of course, and it's been sampled by [N] Mojo I think it was for this song, but it's
slightly different time sort of signature for the [Ab] sampler.
The sampler's elongated I
think.
What I'm doing, the [F] first chord [N] is a bar on six and you've got strings one and
three held in [Ab] on eight for that one.
[Bb] The second chord, what I'm doing at the moment is a bar
on [C] six and then string five [Bbm] on eight.
[Eb]
[Bbm] Alright, so [Db] that's two chords and there's four different
passes for that [N] one.
Then you move on to this group of chords [Bb] here, [Gb]
[Bb] which [N] is basically simply
[Eb] a bar on eight this time and string two held [F] down on five.
I mean you purists might [Dbm] want
to do it, the chord that Nile actually [C] plays for this one [Gb] is a, [Db] this is the bass root on
string five fret [A] nine, but I can't [Ebm] quite get [Bb] my fingers round there, you can have a
go at [Ab]
it.
So you've got that [Gb] chord and then the second one, [Db] bar on nine, [A] string two on
eleven, string [Db] three on ten, string four on eleven.
[Gb]
Alright, and then you've got [Ebm] another
[Ab] couplet of chords [Db] here.
Back to a [A] bar on six and you've got string [Gb] two on [Ab] seven, string
one on eight, [Eb]
that jazzy sounding chord there.
Then you've got, just [Ab] keep the bar where it
is, [Db] but you need to move the little finger here and you need to [Bm] also put your [Ebm]
other finger
on string four on [N] eight and string one now is held down on [Ebm] nine, [Gb]
[Db] like that.
And [Ab] then
you can finish it off.
[Db] Back to the first couplet of chords and [Dbm] the turnaround seems to be,
[Eb] [Db] so from this chord of [Ab] Orisha,
[Eb] this chord here [Em]
which is used a lot actually, if you're not
familiar with this chord it's well [Ab] worth having this one in your toolbox because it's used
quite a lot, [F]
this type of thing.
[G] What I'm doing for this one, string five on eight,
string [A] four on seven, [B] string three on [Eb] eight and the top two strings held [Abm] down on nine.
These old TV cop shows, this was like, they [Dbm] used to use this as the [Ab] incidental music from
one show to [D] another.
[Abm]
Alright, so [Ab] that's basically the ones I'm using for this one.
Alright,
if you don't want to play too many [Bbm] bar chords all the way around [C] as an alternative, say
in the first couplet I showed you, instead [Bbm] of this one, you can [Eb] go, try this [Db] one instead.
This is like, instead of, you give your [E]
thumb a rest.
[N] And this one is top three strings
held down on six, you've got [Ab] string four on five and string five [Db] on six.
[Eb] Put that one
there, [F] okay, and give that a try.
Alright, that's just about it.
Thanks for watching
folks, bye now.
