Chords for Badge - Cream - Lesson on Riff in Second Verse

_ _ _ _ _ [G#] So here's the [A] riff in the second verse of the badge or towards the end [Em] of the second verse.
_ [G#] _ _ [C] _ _ _ [D] _ _
[Am] _ _ _ _ _ _ [Bm] _ _
_ _ [Am] _ _ _ _ _
[F#] It's played quite slow compared to the record and it's that riff that's kind of hard to
hear after [C] I'll just actually play the song.

_ [Bm] _ _ _ _ [Am] _ _ _
_ It's one of [N] my favorite riffs and it's pretty tricky.
There's a really great tab out there that I'm including in the link but I'll walk you through it.
So [Bm] you start with [C] your first finger on the third fret [B] on the A string.
[C] _ _ [G] _ _
Then you slide up, _ _ [G] _ put your third finger on the fifth [B] fret on the A string and you [C] slide
up to the seventh fret. _ _ _
And there you grab the D and the G strings on the fifth fret _ and you slide up from there
to the seventh [G] fret. _
_ _ [C] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ Seventh fret A [E] string.
It's a fifth fret A string.
[D] _ _ _ [G] _ _ _ [D] _
_ [C] _ _ _ _ _ [D] _
[A] Then you make an A [Am] minor chord. _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ So seventh fret and then you bar across the fifth fret _ with your first finger. _
[C] _ _ _ [D] _ _ [Am] _ _
[B] Then you hammer on _ on the seventh fret with your pinky.
_ _ _ [C] _ _ _ [Em] _ _
[Am] _ _ [B] _ That was kind of [C] sloppy. _
_ [D] _ _ [Am] _ _ _ _ _
_ You can use your third finger too. _ _ _
[C] _ _ [E] _ _ _ [B] _ _ _
But if you use your third finger you can't [Am] grab the full. _ _ _
[C] I guess you can.
_ _ [D] _ _ [Am] _
_ _ _ [Em] _ So we have that [C] part. _
_ [A] _ _ [C] _ _ [Em] _ _ _
[Am] _ _ _ Then it's a pull [A] off. _
_ _ _ [G] _ [G#] A pull off from the seventh fret to the fifth [Em] fret on the D string.
_ And it slides right up to the ninth fret on the [A] D string.
_ [B] _ _ _ _ _
_ So [C] all in all. _ _ _ _
_ [Am] _ _ _ _ _ [D] _
Then we get to the next part where [Em] it's after that slide.
_ Seventh [Bm] fret G string.
_ Then seventh fret on the B and the E strings.
_ _ [C] _ _ _ [D] _ _
_ [Am] _ _ _ _ _ [Bm] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [B] Then it's a hammer on to the [D] ninth fret _ _ on the G string.
[B] You're still playing the B string [D] too. _
_ [C] _ _ _ _ _ [Am] _ _
_ _ _ _ [Bm] _ _ _ _
[Em] Come down to the ninth fret on the D string.
[A] _ _
_ _ [Bm] _ _ _ _ _
G and B string again on the seventh fret.
_ [B] _ And back to that A [F#m] minor sus chord.
[E] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [B] _ _ _
_ So all together again.
