Okay, this is a lesson about playing triads
We're going to be playing minor triads and major triads a
Triad if you look at a minor scale, this is a C minor [C] scale
[D] [F] [G]
[Ab] [Bb] [C] And what we're going to play is the first note with our first finger
Then we go up three
[D] one [Eb] two three
The E [C] flat and play that with our little finger
[Eb] [C] Okay, then we go up three again one two three to the fifth which is G
We're gonna play that with our third finger
So first finger fourth finger
[G] Third finger we're gonna go back
[Eb]
[C] Okay, so that's a minor triad and that shape is the same wherever you go
[Eb] [C] That's a minor triad in C for instance in D
E
You just keep the same shape, but it's really important that you play using the little
The
[Cm] main object of this really is to practice getting these strengthening these two fingers
Okay, and in them in the madness song one step beyond
You play a minor triad in C and
[F] [Ab] [F]
[E] F
Okay, and then we do a major triad in G, so we're in G.
We play a major scale
It's [D]
[Db] [G] the same thing we go up in three so the one
Go up three [B] one two three [D] the [G] second finger on the G [Bb] major always start major with the second finger
The B with your first [B] finger and then we go up three to the fifth
[D]
The D so we'll play the D with our fourth finger so [G] two [Bm] one and
the rhythm for madness
one step beyond is
[D]
[Bm] And [G] the only other bit to go from the G back to the C
We do a run down the C minor scale starting on the fifth so it'd be G
[F] B flat D C
[Eb]
[D] [C] Okay, [Db] I'll just play you with a beat so release [Cm] C
[F]
F C twice
[C]
[Eb] See again [C] the F
C twice
now G
[Bm]
[G] [Bm] Down C minor scale
[G] [F] [Eb] [D] [C] C [Eb]
then F
[E] [Ab] [C] [G]
[C]
You
And that's basically it look out for the I'll play along with the madness track at full speed
So go to the next video cheers
