Okay, this is the [C] G lick and probably the most important [G] thing is going to be your right
hand for the G lick.
I'm going to play [G] it through once just so you can hear [Gm] it.
_ [G] _ If I play a little faster.
_ _ _ _ _ We're going to take it in three note sections.
The first three note section, the strings are 3, 1, 5 and they're open.
It's thumb, middle, thumb.
So I'll do that again.
3, 1, 5.
The next three notes, and it's really important that you don't use your thumb in the [Fm] next three notes.
It's going to be index, middle, index.
And the strings are going to be [Bm] 3, 1, [Ab] 3, but you're going to have to put a [C] slide with this one.
So take a look over here.
I'm using my [A] middle finger and I'm going to slide from the second fret [Bb] to the third fret.
[D] Then I play the first string open with my middle finger and then I go back to my index
finger and I'm playing the third string open this [G] time.
So that second set [Gm] of notes is.
_ [G] _ So if I start from the beginning, I'm starting with my thumb.
3, 1, 5, thumb, middle, thumb.
_ _ The next three notes are index, middle, index and that's 3, 1, 3 [A] with a slide.
_ _ [G] _
And then the last three notes are going to be thumb, middle, thumb again.
It's going to be 4, [N] 1, 3.
My fourth string is going to be fretted with my middle finger [Em] at the second fret.
_ [G] _ _ _ Okay, [Em] so thumb, [G] middle, thumb.
So all together I've got thumb, middle, thumb, [Gm] index, middle, [G] index, [Em] thumb.
_ [G] _ If you [Gm] change any of your right hand fingerings, you will not be able to speed this up.
So doing it slowly.
