[B] I think it's probably [F#] the most timeless song that's on the [F#] record.
It sounds like an old song to me.
It just sounds like something that would have been [C#] in the 70s back when the music that I
[B] used to love and listen to when I was younger.
I've always listened to older music so it sounds like an old song to [F#] me.
Sweet Annie has been around for a while [C#] and so because [F#] it's in our mind it's old, I forget about it.
[B] Yeah, I mean we just kind of lost track of [G#] it since all these others have come into play
with the new [B] record being so [F#] close to being finished.
But [C#] still it is a great song.
It's a song of hope so I thought everything [F#] that I would add to it would be of that, that
would help [B] to assist in giving that feeling.
It's kind of hard to describe.
[F] The lyrics are everything.
[B] As [Fm] all songs are [C#] really centered around the lyrics and the [B] lyrical content, Annie is especially so.
[F#] Well written song, [G#] great lyrics.
It's a little [C#] slower song but it lends to bigger [G#] emotions that way.
[F#] But I'd have to say lyrically overall Annie is [C#] probably my favorite out of all of them.
I think that [F#] song's like the ex-girlfriend that you still kind [B] of love but you're never
going to really tell anybody about it.
[F#] I'm just glad it's there.
It's just nice.
[C#]
You kind of forget that Chipper Jones is in the [G#m] lineup sometimes [F#] because he's always been there.
[B] But then when he gets up and hits a home run, [F#] it's pretty awesome.
