[Am] I think for me and for everyone.
Regardless of sexuality, honestly, I think he just awoke the entire country because we

What is one of your best memories from being on the set of Pitch Perfect?
Uh, that's easy.
I got to become very close with my friend Skylar Astin [C] working on Pitch Perfect.
He and I had crossed paths in the theater world before then.
[E] Um, and we were living in Baton Rouge together [C] for like three months making the movie and
we really got to [F] bond and become super [Am] close.
[E] What was the first concert you ever attended?
My first concert I ever attended [C] was Britney Spears.
I think it was in like Costa Mesa.
It was somewhere I had to like drive outside of LA to go with my sister because my sister
[Am] was like Britney fanatic.
And I cried [C] most of the time because it was really loud.
And I was like six or seven and I was [Em] a wimp and I was like, this is too loud.
Um, so I [Bb] didn't really appreciate her fully at first.
But [Am] now of course I'm a Britney stan as anyone with a mind should be.
[C] What has been the highlight of your career [G] so far?
_ _ [A] That's a very difficult question.
I've had a lot of really [D] wonderful, lucky, [C] fortunate [E] moments.
I would say it's hard [C] not to say the Evan Hansen experience and the whole sort of [Am] Tony
Awards dream of [C] that, you know, obviously a life changing experience.
Something I've dreamed about [G] since I was a little kid doing musicals in my backyard.
[C] But more highlights to come hopefully.
[Fm] What was the inspiration behind [C] your debut solo album Sing [Eb] to Me Instead?
[Am] That's a great question.
[C] Well, I think when I started to write the album, I sort of looked at all the things
in my life that I felt were [E] worth singing about and that I felt sort of passionate about
enough to want to [C] elaborate like musically.
And I think that that ended up being largely just kind of thoughts and feelings about my
family and growing older and kind of watching all of my siblings and my parents grow older [F] too.
Not that I don't love a good song about the [C] club as we all do.
Which [E] celebrity were you the most [A] starstruck to meet backstage with Dear Evan Hansen?
[C] Beyonce.
Beyonce is the answer.
[F] Beyonce.
Beyonce today.
[C] Beyonce tomorrow.
[E] Beyonce forever.

[C] What are your top three favorite Broadway [F] musicals of all time? _
[C] Wow.
Saving a real [Am] hard hitter for the last one.

Really beautiful musical about sort of the sacrifices you [E] make for your art.

And probably Spring Awakening because that was the one that came out when I was a teenager
and I [B] wrote my college essay about it because it was my sort of like teen awakening and
[N] it's one of my favorite scores.
