I think the new album's a lot heavier, a lot more mature.
The songs are more songs [G] this time, they're more structured, more solid.
This album we just kind of got together as much as possible and just wrote, [C] wrote, wrote.
Everything clicked with Randy being the new bass player and with the writing process,
you know, everything just fell together.
We actually wrote the last two songs while we were recording the first tracks that we wrote.

and Brian the drummer were new members on the last record and now this time we've all
[Abm] gotten to know each other better as songwriters [N] and a little more seasoned so I think the
songs turned out a lot better.
We all knew what we wanted to go for, which was good, so we just started working on riffs.
This is the first record that I actually [E] wrote, [Gm] there were a few guitar parts [C] and just everybody's writing stuff.
The first record [D] itself, the lyric [F]
content was mainly [E] kind of have like [D] faithful, positive
[C] intent, like hey, you know, [B] yeah life sucks but everything's going to be okay if you just
hang in there.
And then when Day of the Music died, the last record [C]
came out, I was like, alright, we stayed
at that so let's go somewhat opposite.
Then when [Am] this album came about, I was like, alright, let's dwell more into that, you know,
but as a whole, you know, we
