[G] Hello everyone, this is Carlos with the Institute of Musical Arts.
Thanks for coming back.
Today we're going to be starting a tutorial for the song Besame Mucho.
I have some videos that are for reviewing purposes, but this is going to be the actual
tutorial that will teach you step by step how to play this [A] arrangement that I've made
of Besame Mucho.
So we're going to go ahead and get started with the first section.
And we're going to go ahead and get on the fifth fret, we're going to get fingers, I
mean strings one, [D#m] two, and three on the fifth fret with fingers four, three, [E] and two just
the same way like this.
Okay?
And then with our right hand we're going to play thumb on the fifth and then we're going
to do an arpeggio which is going to be five, [Am] one, two, three.
Okay?
I repeat, five, one, two, three, and then we're going to move this finger four and replace
[F#] it with our finger one which has been open on the fourth fret and then it's going to
go to the third fret and then to the second fret.
You will see in a minute.
We're doing the same arpeggio so we do [Am] five, one, two, three.
[E]
[C]
[Am]
Okay?
Let me repeat it again.
[G#]
[C] [F#]
Okay?
So it [Am] sounds and [G#] [C]
[Am] [C] then we come back and then we're going to play the sixth string and the
first with our finger on the third fret and it's going to slide to the fourth.
[E] So [Em] we play six and one [E] and this finger moves from the third to the fourth fret.
[Am] Here we go again.
[G#] [C]
[Am] [C] [E] And then we do it one [Am] more time.
[C]
[E]
So, we're going to do that two times and then keeping with the same position right here,
what we're going to do now is that we're going to play five and then three, two, one together.
And then we move our finger here and we do six, okay?
And three, two, one.
[A] So, five, three, two, one.
[Am] Six, three, [E] two, one.
Then we move our finger once more again.
Remember, this hand is keeping the same pattern.
And [Em] we're going to do three, two, one.
Five, [F#] three, two, one.
[Am]
Like one, two, three.
Okay?
So, going back.
[Am] Five, three, two, one.
[E] Six, three, two, one.
Moving this finger.
Then moving it once more [C] is three, two, one.
Five, three, two, one.
And then we move it once more.
And we do [F#] three, two, one.
[E] Six, three, two, one.
Okay?
[Am] Here it goes.
[E] [Am]
[F#] And after this, [E] we move our finger back right here and we [C] play only three, two, one.
[E] And then we slide the finger just like we did before.
Three, two, one.
And this finger is going from the third to the fourth fret.
So, [Am] it goes like this.
[E] [Am]
[F#] [C] [E] And [Am] we repeat it.
[E]
[F#] [C]
[E] [Am] And then at the end, we just play five, three, two, one.
All together.
Or if you want to break it like this, you can do that as well.
So, this is what comprises the intro of the [G] song.
I'm going to go ahead and do it so you can see it.
It goes, first, we're going to have the arpeggios two times.
And then [F#] this second section two [Am] times.
[G#] [C]
[Am] [E]
[C] [F#] [C]
[Am] [Am]
[F#] [Am]
[E] [Am] [F#]
[C] And that [E] is what takes care of the introduction.
Okay?
[Em] So, at that point, the intro is pretty much set.
So, thank you so much for watching.
And I will see you guys next time.
