Ok, here's today's [B] lick.
[Cm]
[F]
[Cm] [G] Start by bending the 11th fret up on the B string two frets.
I'm going to hold that
up there, then I'm going to add a little bit of vibrato.
Now if you have trouble adding
vibrato to your bends, check out this video which you can see on your screen right now
and it will help you get that down.
Carrying on the lick, we play 8 on the top E string,
then I'm going to move on to the B string and pull 11 [Gm] down to 8.
[G] Pick [Eb] 11 again and pull
it off to 8, then go to 10 on the G string.
[C] [F]
[G] Now we're going to pick 10 again on the G
string, pull off to our 1st finger at the 8th fret and then go to the D string at the
10th fret.
[Cm] [G]
[Cm] [B] Now we're going to go to the G string at the 8th fret [G] and pick the D string
twice with our [C] 3rd finger.
[Bb] Here's what we've got so far.
[C]
[G]
[Cm] [C]
[Gm] Now we're going to move down into
our sliding scale shape.
We're going to hit the 8th fret on the A string and slide it
up 2 frets to the [F] 10th fret.
[G] Now play [Bb] the D string at the 8th fret, hit the A string
at the 10th fret again and slide it quickly down to 8.
[F] Then [Eb] play the 6th fret on the A
string.
[Gm] [F]
This is a [G] really handy little sliding move which I'm sure you'll find useful when
you're playing.
[Gm] [Eb] [G] Then go up to 10 on the [C] D string.
[Gm]
[F] [C] [F] Now we're going to go back down to
the 8th fret on the A string and we're going to play that little phrase again.
[G] [C]
Then we
pick the 10th fret on the D string once more [Eb] and then the 8th fret on the G string.
And
that gives us the second half of the lick which goes like this from the slide.
[F]
