What's up guys, what's going on?
Boris T here and welcome to this new video.
I'm finally [B] back!
Svejkan!
This will be my first reaction [Am] for surgery and today I choose a band called [E] Gaerea or [Gb] Gaerja.
You know well that my band pronunciation sucks.
Do you remember Magla?
Magla.
So we'll call them Gaerja [Eb] and they will blame English [Am] language for that.
So, will be good.
[E] As your mom always say, [B] let's find out.
Jesus, give me time to put my headphones on.
[Db] For God's sake.
[D]
[Bb] [B]
Well, as you all [Db] know, if we start with a blast, [D] Boris T is [Bb] already happy.
[Bm] That's [Bb] a nice melody.
[D] [Bm] Definitely [Bb] it's not the old school [Bm] black metal band.
Already from [Bb] the voice.
Already from [Bm] the voice.
[D]
[Bb] It's more like an [B] old school death metal scream.
[Bm]
[B] [Db]
That's for Tico.
Oh, [B] [Bm] that's [G] new.
[Gb]
Death [B] metal is new.
[Bm]
[Gb] [Bb]
[B] Okay, okay.
[Bm] Okay, it's particular.
[G] Not what I expected.
[Bb]
Nice.
Actually [Bm] it's really nice.
Drum is nailing [Bb] it.
[Bm]
[Bb] [B] [D]
[G] Wow, really cool.
[Bb]
[Bm] [Db]
If [D] you ask me what kind of band they are, [E] sounds like [Gb] I won't say.
[B] [Bb] But there's a lot of [B] good stuff going on here.
A lot of changes.
[Gm]
[G] [Gb] If you look [Db] at them, I would say they look like Magla, [D] but musically they [B] have their own [Db] personality.
[Bm]
[G] [E] Okay, okay, okay, okay.
Nice.
[Bm]
[G] The singer starts with a growl, but then end up with [Bm] like almost hardcore vocals.
[Em] [E] There's definitely a lot [Bm] of riffs going on here.
[Em] [E] I [Db] wouldn't like to [B] be a drummer in this band.
Because [G] stuff on their faces
Probably sweating us out.
[B] The guitars are so fucking particular.
[G] And they have [E] so much
[Ab] stuff [B] going on.
Tempo changing.
[Db] [D] There's this dissonance that [Bb] is persistent, [B] but then the melody hits.
And then they're back on [Db] devilish melodies.
Whoa.
[D] Whoa, and they're adding stuff like [Bm] atmosphere, [Db] keyboards.
[B] And then we have also a break.
Sounds [Em] like, I would say, progressive black metal.
[B]
[Em]
Not saying for the [B] tempos like, you know, for a lot of riff changing, etc.
[Em]
[Bm] Definitely I would say they have some progressive influences.
[Em]
Vocal style, [Gb] probably no black metal, let's say.
[B] At least in my opinion.
[D] [Em]
This is totally hardcore.
[B]
Sounds so similar to the singer of Bring Me The Riders here.
[Em]
[Gb]
[Em] They definitely have personality.
That for sure.
[Gb]
[Em]
[B] The video.
[Bm]
[B] [Db]
[B] [Bm]
[G] Oh dear lord.
Poor drummer.
[Gb]
[B]
[Bb] Definitely one of the most [B] original black metal bands that I've listened recently.
[Bm]
[G] Original sound.
[Bb] Wow.
Wow, the video was [A] crazily good.
So, really
[D] I said to stop, you motherfucker.
So, really [Eb] impressed with [Am] the sound of this band.
This was one of the most original black metal sounds that I've heard in a while.
[A] And let's be honest, if you follow the channel for a while,
you know that I think [Am] that 90% of the black metal scene today [Eb] just copied [Em] what was done before.
It's nice to [A] hear a band that doesn't sound like all the other bands.
[Bm] They can look like a mugwa a little bit, but they don't sound like them at all.
They have their own style and personality.
[Eb] I would [D] call it like progressive [Am] black metal.
There was a lot of stuff going on.
The singer, instead of singing like a normal black metal [Eb] singer,
tried to put some personality in it, [D] which I can say that I liked a lot,
especially the second [Bb] part when [D] he was singing more [Dm] like a [D] hardcore guy.
I don't think that the [F] hardcore [Am] vocals fits really well with black metal.
But the first part when he was [D] singing with [Eb] this much more old-school death metal [Am] style,
you know, vocals sounds really good.
The guitar work was really nice, really original.
I like how [C] it sounds, really personal.
[Am] So, thumbs up, song approved.
With that said, guys, we are at [A] the end of the video.
Hope you like it.
If you like it, remember to [C] subscribe and leave a comment.
It's important [A] for the channel.
You know how the algorithm works, right?
So, guys, this was all.
I'm [Eb] so happy to be back and [A] I hope I will see you all [Eb] in the next one.
Cheers!
