That song man, it's been 10 minutes since I've heard it but I forgot how good it was.
Bless the Father finally back with a brand new song titled Wake the Dead.
I feel like I've heard this song before.
[G]
No [F#] [C#m] it's not that one.
[A]
[C#m] [N] Oh right it's Comeback Kid man.
Wake the Dead.
That song's a banger.

Look I joke, I joke.
Okay I'm excited for this man.
Bless the Falls a band that I grew up with since my emo scene days back during the Craig Mabbitt days.
I'm very well aware of who these guys are.
Let's check out their brand new song.
Let's see if it delivers up to the long ass hiatus.
So bless the fall, wake the dead.
[F#m]
[F] Oh, [A] [Am]
nice time of the week.
It's okay.
[F] [A]
[Am] What?
It sounds alright.
[E]
[F] [C]
Oh [G] cool, already?
Okay.
[Am]
[A]
[F] [Am] I love when they both beat the [C] shit out of their [A] snare man.
[F] Okay.
[A]
[Dm] [A]
[N]
[Am] Oh, okay this [A] is good.
[F]

[Am] [F]
[G] Now repeat that [E] breakdown again for the ending.
[N] [A]
Okay,
[Am] [N]
okay.
Let's talk about it.
You know, there's something about just well produced metalcore that just
just hits.
It just hits.
It's simple as that.
Nothing complex about it.
We've heard it a bunch.
But when it's good, it's good, man.
I had fun with this track.
So let's break it down to the pros and cons.
Number one pro is the intensity.
So as a comeback song, you want something that just grabs the [Fm] listener's ear, right?
[G#] And gets their attention.
So after a long [F] hiatus, if this was like more of like a less energetic track, I don't think
it would have sparked as much interest, but something that just was so upbeat.
A lot of attack on the snares, right?
Just [C] really picked up the momentum.
[Am] This is just a fire, like new single to hype up the new comeback of Bless The Fall, I guess, right?
Pro number two is the riffs in this were solid.
So Bless The Fall has always been a band that's just been like good around [N] riffs.
The riffs are never anything too complex.
Like, I don't know, 0-3-5,-12-13 kind of thing and like octave chords. But here we got some cool lead work. Fun little like pull off kind of riff to just accentuate that rhythm in the breakdown. There's just a lot of just fun riffs that stood out. Pro number three is [Fm] the flow of this track just kept the energy [N] going. There was barely any lull moments. So, you know, I wasn't crazy about how [F] we got into the first chorus so quickly. But, you know, the bridge though, for example, there was a little bit of a break, but not too much. The song was [Am] really like-60. Like it went like by pretty fast, man. But it did everything that it needed to do in the metalcore track. So overall, the production, the music video, the song, the riff, like the vocals, [F] the chorus was like pretty good too. I like the mix of harsh and clean in the chorus too just to keep up with the aggression. Overall, just a solid track. My cons with this is like, you know, obviously if you guys know [D#] me then [Am] Struck Through the song was predictable as hell. But like, it's metalcore. Metalcore as a new single, you don't want something a little bit crazy. So this makes sense as a new single to put out. So for what this track is, it's solid. [F] Now if the next Bless the Fall song follows the exact same structure and same ideas, then I'd be like, okay, like come on. Change it up a little bit, right? So it's a metalcore song that's been done many times. Even the song title I've heard many times shouted out. But, it's solid. [A] Because of it, 8 out of 10. Solid 8 out of 10. But guys, that's my [Am] thoughts on Bless the Fall, Wake the Dead. I'm curious to know what your thoughts are, so comment down below. Spice up my life. [Em] Guys, if you're thinking of this song, I'd love to know. Also, if you've gotten to [Am] this point in the video and haven't clicked off yet, then I'd appreciate it. Feel free to hit that subscribe button. Feel free to leave a like towards the video. But, other than that, thank you for tuning in. Until next time, peace!
