Tempo:

Chords used:

So these are the chords I'm working with in my cover of Rosaline by Bon Iver and St.
Vincent.
I start out with a Bb minor, and then I have octave Gb's in the bottom.
And then I go from there up to a [C#] Db with Ab octaves in the bottom, and then [F#] back.
So it's back and forth between those.
[C#] [F#] And that's really the first part of the piece.
When you play the melody, I think it sounds better actually for that first chord to play a Gb, [F#] so this, instead of [A#m] that.
So the melody, [C#] I mean I'm just [Dm] learning the [F#] melody by ear, but it's
And then it goes to [D#] the Db, [C#] [A#m] and then [F#] back.
I still consider that like the first section.
[C#]
[F#]
And then this is the second section, Ab [G#] major.
[G#]
And then this is the melody.
[A#] [G#]
Still on Ab, [C#]
[D#] and then to the [F] Gb.
[F#]
And then this is what I consider the third part.
It's really kind of the ending of the chorus, but it goes to Bb minor, [C#] [A#m]
and then to Ab.
[F#] [G#]
And then to Gb.
[F#] [C#]
That's also what I [F#] use as my ending, so it's Bb [A#m] minor to [G#] Ab to [F#] Gb.
[F#]
And then I think this is what I play at the end.
I don't think this is actually in the original.
Just these three notes right [C#] here, with those same chords.
[A#m]
[C#] [G#]
[F#]
So that, those are the chords that I'm working with.
That's nothing official, that's just [C#] kind of what I use when I play it, and I think I just learned that by ear.
But yeah, if you want to learn how to play it, I hope you'll check out my other videos.
I hope that helps.
Thanks.
