Start Jamming...
[Ebm] [Db] [B] Hey, it's Brian Culbertson.
Welcome back to my video [Gb] blog series.
I'm here in [Db] my studio
working [B] on my 14th record.
Now, I've already been [E] recording a lot, and [B] today I'd like to
tell you all about it.
[Gb] [B]
[Gb] [Eb] [Ab] [Ebm]
[Ab] [Gb]
[Ab] [Gb]
[Abm] [Gb] Now, you might [Ab] recognize some of that music because it's from [Gb] my first
album, Long Night [Ebm] Out.
I recorded it 20 years [Db] ago.
I've wanted to [Ebm] re-record this album for
many years now.
Finally, I'm doing it the way I always wanted to.
20 years ago, I [Db] recorded
Long Night Out in my college apartment with very little money.
[Ebm] I really didn't know anybody.
But over the past 20 years, I've [Ab] gotten to know a few people.
And so I'm re-doing that
entire record, all 11 songs, with many of the people who inspired me to make that [Db] first
record.
And I'm going to call it Another [Eb] Long Night Out.
[Ab] [Fm]
[Bb] [Dbm]
[Eb] [Abm]
[Gb] [Ab]
[Db] Stay tuned to this video blog series over the coming weeks as I'm joined by a ton of
jazz [Ebm] legends, and you'll get a chance to see everybody [Db] recording in the studio as it happens.
Now, here's where it gets exciting.
For the first time ever, I've decided to [Ab] make this
record independently.
And what that means for you is that I can offer so many more cool
[Ebm] things than I've ever been able to do before.
So check this out.
Do you want to get this
record [Ab] before it comes out?
[Bbm] Or do you want to hear the evolution [Ab] of each song as it's
being recorded?
Do you want to hang out with me in the studio?
[F] Or do you want me to come
to your house and perform [Ab] songs from Another Long Night Out [Eb] and even jam along with me
[Db] and my band?
Well, [Gb] today through November 1st, you have that chance to do [Db] all that and
a whole lot more.
It's real easy.
Just click on [Ab] this link to see the whole list of truly
[Cm] exclusive things [Eb] available to you.
Again, [Db] since I'm doing this independently, I have
so much [Gb] more freedom to do things like this.
I'm just so [Ab] excited to make this record [Dbm] and
to [Ebm] have you be a part of it.
Over the next [Db] few weeks, I'll be posting new video blogs
from [Gb] Another Long Night Out [Ebm] to my YouTube channel and [Abm] all the sessions.
[Db] Enjoy the process
and thanks for [Ab] watching.
[Fm] Cheers.
