Bridge City Sinners - BUS INVADERS Ep. 1508 chords
Start Jamming...
[N] My country
My name is Libby Michael, we're the bridge city centers or part of we're on tour currently we're in Chicago, Illinois
[A] We're gonna play here at Reggie's and we're on our way to muddy roots
You're showing off my good buddy Jack Jack right [B] here 2002 Chevy Astro
Been through a couple unsuccessful you turns
Bumper still on though [B] still goes
So for welcome to the van welcome to the van
Entertainment wise while we're driving we like to pop down
This here sunglasses holder and then we take our [E] phones
And we take a little duct tape and we tape it up here for movie Mondays
Yeah, and then we put it through the Bluetooth and then everyone and enjoys a little surround sound
[N] Welcome to go to any loves or truck stop these things right here little electric kettle 12 volts
So you can have your cup of noodles ready to go.
We got van ramen
There used to be a cooler in here, but we left in Detroit.
The boys will drive during the day.
I am sober
So at night everyone gets fucked up and then [B] I drive us to wherever we happen to be [N] staying
Which is usually some strangers house
So I always get the pretty good end of [F] the deal.
We got a little rear AC doesn't work anymore
I tried [Gb] to we tried to bootleg it back together
It did work for like 10 [F] seconds
Baby [B] wipes so important so important
My friend went to Japan [Eb] brought me back this she did have clothes but
[F] Few bits saloon more keepsakes Gardner, Montana.
Don't ever go there.
[E] It's too much fun
We woke up with like whiskey bottles [A] everywhere in their back [N] parking lot.
Would you like to see the rest of the van?
[B]
No, this is very important.
Yeah, most important rule for touring is to never have a job so you never stop touring take that job
This is typical of the moat, okay, there's always beer cans falling out
Kind of the motto and this is our
Personal piece of heaven.
Yeah, yeah white claws mandatory keystones mandatory
Well, uh, well homemade barbecue sauce we broke the other one
Yeah
Usually [Bm] we'd like to try and squeeze into the van and I'll be [N] together as family
But this tour there are [B] six of us, which usually sometimes there's eight of us and then we have to take two vehicles.
But
Usually we try and all
Squeeze in I also live in this van.
So I got like my curtains, you know, [G] you gotta put your curtains
Nobody can see you jerking off [A] seat folds down
[B] Hammock goes up goes great stops.
Okay doors not so hot not so hot on the doors.
Yeah
[B]
This is pretty much just a tin can on wheels
Wrong jackjack is strong
We named a jackjack because everybody didn't believe in him on the first tour and like the baby from the Incredibles
Might not look like much on the outside, but it's real strong on the inside
Tour in this van
Yeah, the bridge the centers is kind of like a Russian doll of sorts and inside us there are many other pieces
So Michael here has a solo act [N] called King string
Clyde our mandolin player [F] has a [B]
solo act called Clyde and the mill tailors
and then our fiddle player also plays guitar and has the voice of an angel and lightning
so they're kind of going all the time [F] I and
Scott our bass player
Live in Portland and are a little more stationary
And [Abm] then they kind of plan their tour around our [B] tour and then we just fly in and meet up with them
[F] Here's back
We had one on
[Bm] unsuccessful rear-ending in Salt Lake City, Utah
So the bumper kind of got bumped [E] up and you couldn't open these doors up
But [B] luckily my dad had a sledgehammer
So I just sledgehammered the [G] bumper back down and now they kind of open pretty good
This is where all the gear goes usually packed in the ceiling my van
So I'd say who's it pretty tough bass amp goes here bass goes in right there.
Then [D] you can push it up
The bridge won't fit here and slide the bass head underneath that and [B] then two tubs go on the [Db] back two tubs in the middle
And guitars slid along the side knows exactly how he likes it.
And if anybody else does it
[Db] There's only one way it's gonna [Eb] fit
Sometimes we have a total of two guitars
Banjo a mandolin [B] a fiddle a ukulele and a stand-up bass [Gb] all shoved into one plus all [B] of our merch so
So at the moment we have a new album that just came out it's called here's to the devil
You can find it on pretty much everything
also
bridge city [B] centers comm for any of our press stuff [G] as well as
Flail records comm if you guys would like [Eb] to hear some new folk punk [E] flail records
Literally has [G] everything that you need.
[A] Oh, yeah.
Hey, Rebecca my eternal [Eb] love partner.
I love you very much
