Hi, we're Buffalo Tongue.
We're hosting 120 Minutes tonight.
The song you just saw was [N] called Soda Jerk.
That was our first video from Big Red Leather Day.
It's also my, I think it's my favorite video
that we've ever done.
Kevin Kerslike was the director.
And it's a basic Buffalo Tongue kind of thing,
maybe a little more serious than some of the stuff
we've done before.
Typically when we do videos, we talk to the director beforehand.
He says, what do you think, what do you want to do, you know, what do you want to look like?
But for this one Thinner.
Yeah, and I usually go a little taller, thinner.
I go through the camera angles that we need.
I want to look like Julio Iglesias.
But this one was good.
We talked about elements of like old films that we like, like Orson Welles films, like The Third Man, Carol Reed.
These kind of things where we could enter, you know, things that we were talking about in songs,
like jobs that you don't like, that you hate, feeling humiliated, and also just doing the kind of almost generic MTV kind of play over thing.
But I think that this matches good together and I didn't feel like it was a big sellout.
But just by coincidence, we also performed this live when we stopped by 120 Minutes last October.
So here it is now, Soda Jerk live.

[G] Watching our, watching our, take a breath, take a fall.
Makes another miss.
In its socket, in its socket, like a rocket, like a rocket.
Rise is just the same.
[F]
[D] [G] It cooled my eyes, it cooled my heart, but I [D] did it.
[Am] And you shot it [D] out of the [G] [D] park.
[G] I could be still, but [D] couldn't be,
say [G] nothing, let [Am] us be down on [D] the floor.
[G]
Just my bounds, just my bounds, ice cream mountain, ice cream mountain.
Suppose I'm just too late.
Form a line, form a line, I'll die, I think I'll die.
People just nauseate me.
[D]
[G] But my patience, my patience, were a spaceship.
[Am] Higher [D] than all of us.
[G] [C]
[Em] [G] I would rise, I would rise, if I [Am] still,
risen from where [D] I stood.
