Start Jamming...
Hello everyone, so this is Emily
It's requested a lot that I do a tutorial on how to [E] play butterfly from BTS's prologue
They haven't released a song yet.
So of [Gb] course, this is just kind of like a choppy version of what was released so far
[G] All right, so let's get going.
Let's start [Ab] with the right hand
This is the melody [C] and this is just the [Gb] intro part before Jungkookie starts singing.
So you're gonna start off with an F sharp
You [Ab] play G sharp you know C sharp
So [N] you're gonna play that four times?
Okay, one two, three, two, two, three, three, two, three, four two three All right
Yeah
[A] All right, and then the next set is [Ab] G sharp a and
And
[Gb]
F sharp, there we go.
[C]
And you're gonna play that four times [F] also
[Gb] Then you're gonna go back to the first one that [D] you played
[Ab] And then your fourth set is gonna be [G] F sharp G sharp F
[Gb] All right, and so you're gonna be [E] playing those four different [Ab] chords four times.
Okay, so here let's play it together
[C]
One two, ready [D] go
[A] [C]
[A]
[Eb]
And then you're gonna play [Gb] that again and that's you just basically play that twice before Jungkookie comes in singing
All right.
So the right hand is gonna be a little more difficult
So remember how or the left hand remember how the right hand I was saying [A] one two, three
Two two three three [Gb] two, three four [Ab] two three
All right.
So remember that rhythm because it's gonna be a little tricky on the left [A] hand.
You're gonna start off with
C [Db] sharp and
G-sharp, okay
[Ab] so
[E]
There's a for a [A] bong [Abm] time.
They put in [Ab] a note on beat two.
[B] So it seems like the melody
[Ab] The rhythm is a little it's not off
It is in time also
but when you try to play it, it's tricky because it comes in on two and you we have [Abm] a natural feeling [A] for
[Ab] Like even meters and so usually things come on one and three
Instead of one two and four and so it seems like it's the offbeat
So here you're gonna say you're gonna play C sharp and G sharp
You're gonna [Db] go one two, three one two
one two three two two three
Yeah, one two, three, two, two, three, three, two, three four two three
[E] Okay, so that's while you're [A] playing
Do do do do do do do [Ab] so example
[Db]
Okay, [E] [C] and then your next chord is gonna be [Db] you're gonna hold the C sharp out
two two three three two three four two three, then you're gonna play a
[E] for the next chord
[A] one two three [Ab] two two three three two three four two three
[E] Okay, so you're gonna go [A] a and then [Ab] G sharp [A] so
[Ab] And
Then your next chord is going to be F [D] sharp and it's the same thing
[Gb] so one two, three, two, two, three, three, two, three four two three and
Then this is a little bit different so [Ab] all these extra chords [Bb] we're coming in on was coming in on [G] two
[Abm] Now it's [A] gonna come in on three and four.
Okay, so you're gonna [E] play C sharp and G sharp
[Db]
So one two, three, two, two, three, three, two, three four two three
Okay
one two, three, two, two, three
Two three four two three
[Abm] So that last chord is C sharp G sharp and then when you come in on three you play F natural
Coming on four you [Ab] play G sharp
Okay, [Ab] and then you just come back [D] and then you just play
[Db]
And then you know the second time that you play that again, you don't have to do the odd
coming in [A] on two
Like you can just play regular
[Db] You know like keep the time going
[Am]
[Gb]
[Db]
And that's [C] basically all that you have to do it's a little confusing
So that's why I'm [Gb] splitting it up into three parts
Because the intro is [A] hard to catch on to if you can't if you don't feel that inner pulse
So I'm gonna play for it slowly
Here how those beats coming on two and then three and four.
Okay, so you're gonna start together
