[Em]
[D]
[Em] As soon as I [D] moved here at ACM, like after two months I was in [Em] a function band.
I started getting loads around [E] everywhere.
Immediately [D] I was thrown into [D] a whole [E] bunch of amazing [Em] musicians, which was great.
And then I did that for about four or five months and then I [D] got an email from Suzie about the [E] Kate Nash audition.
[E]
Kate Nash was doing these interviews mainly to see how she could relate to the people.
So obviously when you're on tour with someone for a long time, they need to be people that you can be with [Ab] 24 hours a day.
So I guess [E] if you ever go and do an audition, always be nice.
That's all I can say.
Right now I'm doing YMS or Tea in the Pup, singing with Cher [C] Lloyd.
But in the meantime I love doing session [A] work.
I always love doing session [E] work.
The thing that I enjoy most from doing session work is that you can go from one job to [C] another one.
And it will be a [A] completely different genre.
So [Em] you get to test yourself and your technical abilities and sound-wise as well from a guitarist's point of view.
So I've had to learn so much and that's what I love about [A] session work.
That each [E] gig I'm just learning more and more [Em] and it keeps me practicing.
[Gm] The Cher [Em] Lloyd, I've been using my Fender Strat, [Eb] which is like the first guitar I bought when I was [Em] 14.
It's [D] my baby.
[E] It's even got a name.
I mean most of the guitars have names.
It's called Mr Jones.
It's an [C] electric bass Strat and I [Am] just love it.
[E] What I think is great about ACM is how you meet so many like-minded [C] people.
I learn to classmate [A] musicians and [G] you get continuously [E] inspired not only by the tutors but by the kids sitting next to you.
[C]
The fact that they [Am] push you to test yourself as [Em] well is great.
There's sometimes that we've got jazz [B] bands that I would have [C] never thought I'd be able to play.
So I'd be like, [A] oh I'm never going to do that.
And then just like [E] sitting down and being like, okay you've got to [Em] do it.
Just practicing over and over until you get it.
So [D] it's kind of taught me [E] there's nothing that you really can't do if you try.
