[Ab] I was born with [Db]
dyslexia [F] and
[Gb] I couldn't ever learn [Ab] to read music.
I didn't [Db] learn to read music because words and [F] lines and they still do float on me.
[Abm] And [Ab] when God gave me the [Cm] gift of music, [Abm] I wondered how [F] I would get different ideas like when you hear a lot of [D] other writers, [Fm] [F] they can [F] extract music from [Gb] classical music that [Bb] they've learned and
[Eb] integrate it in their own music.
And it [G] sounds so original, but I didn't have a way to [A] do that.
[Eb] And because I couldn't read anybody [Cm] else's music and I wanted so much to make beautiful music for [G] the Lord.
[Eb] And I heard my father [Gb] one day say, if two plus [G] three is five, three plus two is five.
[Eb]
So I interpreted that to mean that if anything is beautiful, [Ab] and if [C] it's a pretty picture, if you turn it around backwards, [F] it would still be pretty, although [Eb] you maybe couldn't [Bbm] see [Gbm] the colors as clearly.
But it would be [Db] the same picture.
So I don't know [G] how I interpreted it like that.
[Ab] But I [Ab] gave every [A] picture that I thought that was [Am] beautiful, [Bbm] I gave it a number.
[Gb] And there are seven [C] numbers and there are [F] seven colors [Gb] in the color spectrum.
[Bb] And there are seven notes in an octave.
[E] [Eb] So I gave red like a dominant key [D] and pink, [C] I would give it a flat.
So if I would [A] walk in and see a beautiful [Bbm] picture, [D] the first letters, [Dbm] the [Ab] first colors that would [Abm] shine out to me, I would [F] play that.
[G] And if it would [Bb] be blue, I'd go, and blue, blue, and
[Fm]
[Bbm] [Fm]
[Eb]
[Db] [Ebm] [Fm]
[Bb] [Gb]
[Db] [Cm] that's [Bbm] how I started writing different kinds [Eb] of melodies.
[Abm] And the Lord [Am] just took that [Bb] and [Cm] developed it [G] into my [Ebm] own little thing.
And I always liked [Ab] little intimate songs, a lot of songs [Cm] that people [C] appreciate, [Bbm] say we, [F] but I like the little song [Gb] that the Lord gave me
[G] after [Dm] my mother [Db] passed.
My [Ebm] mother prayed for [Db] me, [Bb] she prayed for me, [Eb] down on [Ab] her knees, cried [F] Lord, [Bbm] help me please.
[Eb] My mother prayed, [Ab]
she [Db] prayed for me.
[Gb] I like that.
I wonder [Ebm] where [Fm] I'd be, and now she [Eb] prayed for me.
Last night the [C] ship on a raging [Bbm] sea, [Eb] but my mother prayed, [Ab]
prayed for [Db] me.
[G] Stuff like that.
[F]
And you can [Gb] take it
[D] to where God has appointed you to be.
[Ab] God sees you
[Bbm] and [Cm] he's going to reward [A] you.
The [Bbm] hardest thing for us [E] is when we first came [Eb] here, we had to downsize.
[Ab] And I just couldn't get excited [Ab] over stuff.
Although I knew God had called me here, [Db]
I said, God, how can [Ab] I get excited when we've seen thousands of people?
And you're sending us back [Db] home?
Then we even have a hotel in the south.
And God's sending us back here, [Eb] and you want us to get [Eb] excited
[B] about this?
[Ab]
He said, [F] no, get excited [Ebm]
[D] over obedience, [Ab]
over you saying yes, Lord.
[G] And [Ab] I want to let you know God can excite when [G] it's this small, [Ebm] when you are in his will.
And we are [D] so excited, we were so excited [Gb] about doing this.
And [Eb] I love my sister and the [Ab] excitement.
We call each other every morning at about 630, wondering what God has said during the night.
[A]
And [Ab] we're excited.
And we want you to know that wherever God has put you, [F] that you can cast everything [Db] over [Gb] to him.
And those [G] worries, those [Cm] times when you feel like you're alone, and some of you that [Ab]
you might be watching this right now, and you may feel very insignificant, and you think that things are so heavy that you
[Bm] just can't take [Eb] it.
But the Bible says that you can cast [Ab] all of your cares upon the Lord.
[Ab] How [C]
many of you believe that?
[G]
[Ab] Webster says to cast [Eb]
means to throw violently.
Like, [G] I'm through with it.
I can't do anything [Gb] with it.
But God [Eb] has to have that bait when you cast your [Ab] cares.
That's bait for him to take.
[Cm]
And he can take that [Bbm] and change your [Ab] life.
And [Db] if you give your [Ab] life to Christ, he can take that which you thought [F] was impossible to [Gb] fix [Bb] and [Eb] make it over again.
And if you've ever heard my [Ab]
testimony, [Gb] how I've [Cm] had pain in my life.
And I thought I would never, ever smile again.
[Eb] Oh, I could smile in front of you.
But deep in my [Ab] heart, I was a sad boy.
But [Ab] the Lord put a real smile [Bb] in my heart.
And [Eb] only he can do [Db] that.
[Gb] [Eb]
[Ab] Hallelujah.
[Eb] Father, I pray that everyone that is at the [A] sound of my voice right now, [Db] some that [Abm] are hurting so bad, and some [Ab] of them that feel that they can't be forgiven for things that they have done.
And I pray that you would [G] heal right now.
[Abm] In the name of Jesus, [Eb] right where you are, I want you just to say, [Db] Jesus, [Db] I [Ab] recognize my [Fm] need for you.
[Gb] I want you [Gb] to forgive me [G] of all of my sins.
[Abm]
[G] And wash me [Bb] in your precious [Eb] blood.
And by your grace, I'm going to live for you.
[Ab]
Thank you, Jesus, [Eb]
[Bb] for coming [Eb] into my heart.
[Ab]
Come on, everybody in the room, just say, thank you, Jesus, [Db] along with those that are praying.
[G] Thank you, [Db] Jesus.
[Db] Thank you, Jesus.
Thank you, [Gb] Jesus.
[Ab] Father, we praise you [Ebm] for your real.
[Db] You are real.
Hallelujah.
