[Ab] I was born with _ [Db] _
_ _ dyslexia [F] and _ _
[Gb] I _ _ couldn't _ ever learn [Ab] to read music.
I _ didn't [Db] learn to read music _ because words and [F] lines _ and they still do _ _ float on me.
_ [Abm] And [Ab] when God gave me the [Cm] gift of music, _ _ [Abm] _ I wondered how [F] I would get different ideas like when you hear a lot of [D] other writers, [Fm] _ [F] they can _ _ [F] extract music from _ [Gb] classical music that [Bb] they've learned _ _ and _
[Eb] integrate it in their own music.
And it [G] sounds so original, but I didn't have a way to [A] do that.
_ _ [Eb] And because I couldn't read anybody [Cm] else's music and I wanted so much to make beautiful music for [G] the Lord.
[Eb] _ And I heard my father [Gb] one day say, if two plus [G] three is five, _ _ _ _ _ _ three plus two is five.
[Eb] _
_ _ _ So I interpreted _ that to mean that if anything is beautiful, _ [Ab] _ _ _ _ _ and if [C] it's a pretty picture, _ _ if you turn it around backwards, [F] it would still be pretty, although [Eb] you _ maybe couldn't [Bbm] see _ [Gbm] the colors as clearly. _ _
But it would be [Db] the same picture. _ _
So I don't know [G] how I interpreted it like that.
_ _ [Ab] But I [Ab] gave every [A] picture that I thought that was [Am] beautiful, [Bbm] I gave it a number.
_ _ [Gb] And there are seven [C] numbers and there are [F] seven colors [Gb] in the color spectrum.
_ [Bb] And there are seven notes in an octave. _
[E] [Eb] So I gave red like a dominant key [D] _ _ _ and pink, [C] I would give it a flat. _ _ _ _
So if I would [A] walk in and see a beautiful [Bbm] picture, _ [D] the first letters, [Dbm] the [Ab] first colors that would [Abm] shine out to me, I would [F] play that.
_ _ _ _ [G] And if it would [Bb] be blue, I'd go, _ _ and blue, blue, and _ _ _ _ _
_ [Fm] _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[Bbm] _ _ _ _ _ [Fm] _ _ _

[Db] _ _ [Cm] _ _ _ _ that's [Bbm] how I started writing _ _ different kinds [Eb] of melodies.
_ [Abm] And the Lord [Am] just took that _ [Bb] _ and [Cm] developed it [G] into _ my [Ebm] own little thing.
And I always liked _ [Ab] little intimate songs, a lot of songs [Cm] that _ _ people _ [C] appreciate, _ _ _ [Bbm] _ _ say we, _ [F] _ but _ _ I like the little song [Gb] that the Lord gave me _
[G] _ _ after [Dm] my mother [Db] passed.
My [Ebm] mother prayed for [Db] me, [Bb] she prayed for _ me, [Eb] down on [Ab] her knees, cried [F] Lord, [Bbm] help me _ please.
_ [Eb] My mother prayed, _ [Ab] _
she [Db] prayed for me. _
[Gb] I like that.
_ _ _ I wonder [Ebm] where [Fm] I'd be, and now she [Eb] prayed for me.
Last night the [C] ship on a raging [Bbm] sea, _ [Eb] but my mother prayed, _ _ _ _ [Ab] _
prayed for [Db] me. _ _ _ _ _
[G] Stuff like that.
[F] _ _ _ _
_ And you can [Gb] take it _
[D] to where God has appointed you to be.
_ _ [Ab] _ God sees you _
[Bbm] _ and [Cm] he's going to reward [A] you. _
The [Bbm] hardest thing for us _ [E] is when we first came [Eb] here, we had to _ downsize.
_ _ _ _ [Ab] And _ I just couldn't get excited [Ab] over stuff.
Although I knew God had called me here, _ [Db] _
I said, God, how can [Ab] I get excited when we've seen thousands of people?
And _ _ _ you're sending us back [Db] home? _
Then we even have a hotel in the south. _
_ And God's sending us back here, [Eb] and you want us to get [Eb] excited _ _
[B] about _ this?
_ _ [Ab] _
_ He said, [F] no, get excited _ [Ebm] _
_ [D] over obedience, _ _ [Ab] _
over you saying yes, Lord. _ _
[G] _ _ And [Ab] I want to let you know God can _ _ excite when [G] it's this small, _ _ _ [Ebm] when you are in his will.
_ And we are [D] so excited, we were so excited [Gb] about doing this.
And [Eb] I love my sister and the [Ab] excitement.
We call each other every morning at about 630, wondering what God has said during the night.

And [Ab] we're excited.
And we want you to know that wherever God has put you, [F] _ _ _ that you can cast everything _ [Db] _ over [Gb] to him.
And those [G] worries, _ _ those [Cm] times when you feel like you're alone, and some of you that [Ab]
you might be watching this right now, and you may feel very insignificant, and you _ think that things are so heavy that you _
[Bm] just can't take [Eb] it.
But the Bible says that you can cast [Ab] _ all of your cares upon the Lord.
[Ab] How _ _ [C]
many of you believe that?
_ _ [G] _ _ _
[Ab] Webster says to cast [Eb] _ _
means to throw violently.
_ Like, [G] I'm through with it.
I can't do anything [Gb] with it.
But God [Eb] has to have that bait when you cast your _ [Ab] cares.
That's bait for him to take.
_ [Cm] _
_ _ _ And he can take that [Bbm] _ _ and change your [Ab] life.
_ _ And [Db] if you give your [Ab] life to Christ, he can take that which you thought [F] was impossible _ to [Gb] fix _ [Bb] and [Eb] _ make it over again.
_ And if you've ever heard my [Ab]
testimony, _ [Gb] how _ I've [Cm] had pain in my life.
And _ I thought I would never, ever smile _ again.
[Eb] Oh, I could smile in front of you.
_ _ _ But deep in my [Ab] heart, I was a sad boy.
_ But [Ab] the Lord put _ _ a real smile _ [Bb] in my heart.
_ _ And [Eb] only he can do [Db] that.
