There's a gentleman over here who plays for [D] one of the up-and-coming groups in [Bb] Hawaiian music,

_ [Gb] _ _ So Vicky is actually, he's, he's, I mean, he's said that, um, [D] plays for the Kaiao, they are one [N] of the up-and-coming groups in Hawaiian music.

Yes, they're in their studio right now, and I think [Em] they're gonna be, uh, a group to watch out for.

So the story goes, with this particular guy, I don't know if this is true or not, I heard this once, and I'm thinking about it.
Um, and she was in the studio, and she was recording, you know, her, uh, her classic album, Ili Koi Tani Nga Hoa.
And, uh, she had all these songs, all these family songs, and she had, like, two minutes left on the record.
You didn't know how the records worked out, but you [B] got time, and you gotta think, you know, [D] make it fit, right?
And so the record is there, she has [Eb] two minutes left, and they're like, okay, you know, you need more [D] of a song.
And being the Hawaiian scholar that she was, she had this [Bb] song, on the spot, and recorded it.
And it ended up being possibly one of the most recognizable, popular songs in the Hawaiian hula music repertoire.
