I'm talking with Chris [E] Cornell.
Euphoria Morning is out Tuesday.
Mm [D]-hmm.
So line up at your record [E] stores right now.
You worked with a couple [C] of members of the band Eleven on [E] this one.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
How'd that come about?
[Gb] Well, we toured with them over the years and they were good friends.
And I got an offer to do a soundtrack single and decided to record [Bb] it with them
because I'd [E] been spending time with them and just messing around in their studio.
So we did that there.
And we got an offer [Fm] to do a Chris Cornell [E] Eleven thing
that's a Christmas [Db] song for a Christmas benefit record.
So we did that.
And [Gbm] we were already [F] kind of working together just for fun and then doing projects like that.
It just was a [Eb] natural thing.
I didn't want to [E] go out and hire [Fm] people or audition people I'd never met before
playing [E] songs that are close to me and some guy that I don't know who plays on everybody's record.
I didn't want to do that.
So it was [F] just luck in a sense that the situation was there.
Yeah.
And [B] [F] they're so good at what they [Gb] do.
Right.
Do you want [Ab] to continue working with them [E] after this record?
Yeah, [G] I'd love to.
I [Gb] can maybe be their roadie [F] when they go out on the Eleven.
