Let me see that.
This is this new album of yours.
This is a real labor of love, isn't it?
This is something that started out as an obsession from going to your parents record collection
It's you know, there's not even labor involved.
It was just a lot of fun to make this record
I went this is for people don't know about what it's called beyond the Sun and it refers to Sun studio in Memphis, Tennessee
And that's where Johnny Cash and Elvis Carl Perkins right Orbitz
And I mean so many people all got their start in this one in a room
That's about half the size of this thing is it when you go in there?
It's like a time machine
Yeah, never it's really never changed
I don't think it's the same linoleum on the floor and the same tiles on the wall and
Well, so for someone who grew up loving that sort of music to get in through those doors to work in that studio
Must have been incredible.
Well, you know not everybody in their life is gonna do technical a dream dream coat, but
For me going to Sun studio was the one that was mine
Well, you loved it so much and know that that you recorded and you recorded and you recorded and you recorded 38 songs
Yeah, well, usually, you know, they usually you know when they go in the studio, they usually go how you doing?
Are you doing good?
Yeah, well, we're you know
We got some sounds today or something and you do one two, three songs a day would be a lot
And they called and they said how you doing?
We've been there a couple days.
I said we're doing good
They said well, how many songs you cut?
I said we're doing good
Well, how many songs you cut thinking I hadn't done it.
I said we did 38 songs
You gotta mix all those songs.
That's way too many
So it was a final number I think we got over 40 really Wow got three or four albums
I think we yeah, we've got plenty to go
Everybody okay, okay.
Yeah.
